I found How I Got Over too short to be a 5 mic's honestly....if it had maybe another 4 songs with actual rappin in it. Coulda been 5 mics. The Roots always at that 4/4.5 mark.

I haven't heard all of Big Boi's shit yet, I'm buyin it on Friday but everythin I heard off it was fuckin dope as hell so I'm hopin its that. Big Boi with a 5 mic solo album would be a great thing for hip hop.

i dont know who (if any) deserve it but albums in this decade arent the same as in the 90's so maybe they shouldnt be held to the same standards..although that sounds fucked up

if we are just judging music based on the last 9 years then the roots and recovery are somewhat deserving...

if we are comparing to all of hip hop history then no they shouldnt give 5 mics..i mean this is clearly to just boost sales but whatever noone is checking for the source anyways

Revolutions Per Minute already received 4.5 mics from The Source earlier this year.

I would love to see Eminem, Big Boi, or The Roots get the 5 though. There's a part of me that would like to see Drake get 5 mics, just to see the internet go nuts with hissy fits about it, but Thank Me Later already gets a lot of unwarranted hate as is. I don't think it's classic, but I could imagine the uproar over that album getting 5 mics.
