When he dropped recovery, he had that psycho, murdering shit back and people weren't happy. Then he went for straight lyricism on Recovery and people still weren't happy. Then Hell The Sequel saw him dropping punch lines and word play for fun, yet people STILL weren't feeling it. So to me, this album was him trying to please everyone. You want concept songs, it's got it. You want stories, it's got it, sick shit, slow songs, heartfelt, going harder than anyone else has gone in YEARS, check check and check. Yet there's still hate. Hopefully this will make him realise that aside from going back on drugs and re-recording the same songs from 1998-2002, he's never gonna be able to please everyone again, so he can stop trying. On the other hand, it could result in him blowing his brains out screaming "WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?" Because despite his well documented admissions that he doesn't even know how to turn a computer on let alone use the Internet, he must know what a lot of hip hop heads are saying about this album, and it must make him scratch the old blonde mop that's back on top.

It's because people listen to him for different reasons but he knows wat his core fans like. Which is everything that defines his style which is personal content, singing on hooks, lotta emotion, charisma, just records his fans relate to. But there's casual fans he will try to please as well by giving them songs that are just about spitting rather then him as an overall artist. The casual fans complain alot but should be happy they get wat they do.

There was songs on MMLP2 like Stronger Than I Was, Headlights, Beautiful Pain, Legacy, Bad Guy, So Much Better etc for his core fan base.

Then he threw in Rap God for the more casual fans who care more about Flow then content/depth/emotion and overall song writting then he threw that Don't Front song as a bonus. He doesn't have to sacrifice content, emotion, overall artistry just for Flow like he did on these 2 songs. He could just make songs for his fans but he gives y'll something so be happy and not complain.

Your talking nothing but shit. As you can only see through your eyes you immediately think that your apart of Eminem "Core" audience. You think that your interest in his music is what makes you his "Core", as if to say somebody who puts 'flow' above everything else is more of a casual listener.

If you were talking about his core audience then you would be wise to look at his audience when he first made it, you think any fan of SSLP or MMLP really wants another duet with Rhianna or a song with him singing about how bad his life is? The casual audience is middle America who want to hear about his problems, just look at any Reality TV program to see just how much Middle America loves to hear about somebody singing due to their grandparent dying and having a dream to become famous...get the fuck out with that shit.

You are listening to his music because you are attracted to his personality rather than his actual music. Those who put flow above personality are those fans of the Art of rapping; Not just hearing about somebodies problems.

This is one of the worst Hip-hop albums I have ever heard. The song with Kendrick is horrible. In the words of Prodigy "And I don't give a fuck what you sold, that shit is trash."

Evil Twin lyrically one of the best songs I heard this year. Perfect track to end the album on.

Stronger Than I Was isn't wack to me it isn't great it's just decent. Don't really play it that much it could've been left out of the album. The verse at the end of it is good though. This is definitely some Drake type stuff but he's been doing tracks like this before drake was even on the radar.

I will go with this for album of the year, tried to get into the pusha album but it got stale fast, for me freddie gibbs takes second but to be fair there's still albums i ain't heard.

I didn't like it at first but it definitely grew on me. Bad guy, rap god, love game, brainless, baby, ground hogs day, evil twin, legacy. The album is good
