icecoldstew;6489663 said:I see what u saying. It definitely "fits" Em's style a lot more but I'm talkin strictly production. That Bass Brothers lawsuit shit wasn't a good look for either of them. If I'm not mistaken Em only did 2 beats on Relapse and Dre did the rest and u can tell big time. I can't believe u just put it on the same level as TES show where Em did all but 2 beats tho lol

Then Hell The Sequel saw him dropping punch lines and word play for fun, yet people STILL weren't feeling it. So to me, this album was him trying to please everyone. You want concept songs, it's got it. You want stories, it's got it, sick shit, slow songs, heartfelt, going harder than anyone else has gone in YEARS, check check and check. Yet there's still hate. Hopefully this will make him realise that aside from going back on drugs and re-recording the same songs from 1998-2002, he's never gonna be able to please everyone again, so he can stop trying. On the other hand, it could result in him blowing his brains out screaming "WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?" Because despite his well documented admissions that he doesn't even know how to turn a computer on let alone use the Internet, he must know what a lot of hip hop heads are saying about this album, and it must make him scratch the old blonde mop that's back on top.

Its the production.
Em went from making fun of Pop and the mainstream to becoming Pop. He can rap his ass off, and he does on MMLP2, but hearing him on these synthy bullshit beats is killing him. and getting these Skylar Grey type bitches to do his hook is wack too.
I dunno man im done with the dudes music. I was a huge fan for Infinite-The Eminem Show, but im offended at everything since then. (Bad Meets Evil had some Gems on there)
I cant disagree with you there bruh. the beats and singy songy hooks been killin it for me. I just try to look for the positive in it. but Im def there with you on that tho. people just defend the bullshit by sayin the beats from then sound "dated" and that the sound is "updated". I hate that argument. a good beat is a good beat.
