I will go with this for album of the year, tried to get into the pusha album but it got stale fast, for me freddie gibbs takes second but to be fair there's still albums i ain't heard.

Been off the internet the whole summer. I didn't know Fred dropped a album, I'll check it out. Wales too

I did enjoy the album but it wasn't MMLP level. "Bad Guy/Stan 2" was creative. Like the sample on "Rhyme and Reason". Em of course shows his lyrical worth all throughout the album. But the album as a whole was more inline with "Recovery" than the MMLP feel. Dr. Dre was noticeable absent. Overall decent follow up but lacks the production and great songs that the original had.

Legends Never Die

Magna Carta

Born Sinner

12 Reasons To Die

Prisoner Of Conscious

Wolf

SAAB Stories (and probably Blue Chips 2 after a few more listens)

Long.Live.A$AP

Old

Deltron 3030 Event II

My Name Is My Name

Summer Knights

13

Albert Einstein

K.R.I.T. (mixtape, but its 10 times better than MMLP2)

Trunk Muzik Returns (same as Krit's)

I see what u saying. It definitely "fits" Em's style a lot more but I'm talkin strictly production. That Bass Brothers lawsuit shit wasn't a good look for either of them. If I'm not mistaken Em only did 2 beats on Relapse and Dre did the rest and u can tell big time. I can't believe u just put it on the same level as TES show where Em did all but 2 beats tho lol

I didn't know about that... doesn't really change my opinion though. All that aside, TES was crazy on the production. A lot of people missed the point of the concept that it was a "show", and I think they did a good job of pulling that off. White America, Square Dance, Sing For The Moment and Til I Collapse sounds like some shit at a rock concert. In terms of ranking Em albums strictly on production, I don't see another album coming close except Relapse and MMLP.

SSLP got the grimiest production of all them shits!

Nah, been meaning to sign up for a while. Lurked on and off since 2005/6

How you been lurkin longer than I've been posting? Damn you were only a couple years off from a decade of lurkin

im actually a fan of some of em's music. but the only track on this album i can say i truly like is bad guy. was severely let down by love game. had such high expectations for that song pre-listen. so you can imagine my initial reaction of when i actually heard it. everything about it was fucking annoying. including em and kendrick. absolutely no excuse for 2 emcees of their caliber to release such an abysmal song like that. everything else on the record ranged from ok to forgettable. i mean seriously, how much time did em invest into making this album again?

Yea that Buckshot track is dope af..why it's not on the album actual album is ridiculous to me

Sample wasn't cleared in time, or it would have been on the deluxe version

Bad Guy, Rhyme or Reason, Asshole, Evil Twin, Groundhog Day, Don't Front i'm feeling.

The rest are whatever. I'll probably forget the album in a month or so.
