I finally listened to this joint fully and I listened to it 3 times....

This shit is fuckin dope fire!

On first listen I was disappointed but after 2 more times I finally got it.

It took Eminem 3 albums to finally get it. Relapse was an odd attempt at trying to over-do the whole "Slim Shady" thing and it turned into a strange serial killer concept album. Recovery was Eminem trying to adapt to the times and it turned into a "I'm the best rapper and look at how well I rap, rappity rap" This album he finally made a grown man Slim Shady album and it was his most cohesive project since the Eminem Show. Its like when Jay came back it took him til the BP3 (IMO) to adapt more with the current landscape while staying to who he was without sounding forced.

I could have done without "Asshole" and "The Monster" Survival is dope as hell idk why that track is slept on. Think Legacy is one of the best tracks on the album. I dont get most people who dont like this album. What kind of album did you expect? This IS an Eminem album more than his last 2.

does anybody know were i can get that short eminem song previously posted? ass hole is a great fucking song, I even like skyler on this.

Lol@ this shit

had it for a couple days now

umm, not a big fan. the beats do not match the style I want which is like depressing, haunting, type shit.

the production is horrible as is the case with most of eminems stuff recently.

i dont like his voice anymore..not sure when that changed.

honestly, all of his shit is just ok for me now.

i prefer j cole, kendricks, games to this. i might even delete it except for like 4 songs.

why did he diss asher roth too? i mean seriously, asher actually said he was inspired by him but honestly eminem is a bitch for that. asher roth barely has any type of success and eminem needs to go at him? i didn't think that was really necessary and hopefully asher roth disses him. i prefer asher roth even if he has no career to speak of. i think he spits better. eminem got all crazy with this double rhyming style that personally is just an EAR FULL. pause. no homo. whatever it is said these days im white.

*Non Em fan

Fucking love the concept and finished product of Love Game.

In general, this aint a bad album considering I cant stand this dude...and although I cant stand him...he is still lyrically better than 95% of rappers right now...

I get what this album was suppossed to be...

An unbiased 7/10....cant stand the Rihanna tune, but I expect it to be a big chart hit.

I've had a chance to sit with the record and I've come to the conclusion that my initial reaction was off a bit.

It is better than what I initially gave it credit for. The lyricism is what carries this joint. After I deleted Asshole, Stronger.., and The Monster, and added the bonus tracks, I've warmed up to it. And that's all due to the fact that this is his strongest lyrical outing since TES.

So yeah, I was wrong. I am an Em fan, but I'm not so enamored with his music that I won't call bullshit when I hear it.

My objective opinion is that the joint is somewhere between a 7 and an 8. If you get rid of the joints I called out and add the bonus ones you'll enjoy this record a helluva lot more.

Ok but specifically what would he have had to do for it to not be wack?

I can acknowledge that he fell off but I also think since Recovery, he got back on.

Forget it bredren...It's a losing battle against these kids. They can't form logical sentences.

I'll tell you why they dont like Emimem.....They cant relate to a white boy rapping...At 1st they loved the shock value, but now that his material has changed up a bit(His skills have always been there) they dont like it and piss and moan like a bunch of children. They cant relate if it aint about bitches, bottles and gats....I know's Ill get wack and feelings referrals on this, but it just shows there's a level of maturity that's missing in The Reason....I seen a lot of cats who are different and bring some logic, but the majority are closed minded that run in packs like hyenas and gang up on ppl...It's a mob mentality in The Reason......

Why can't people just not fuck with it, cause they don't like it?

Em has dope shock value tracks and dope introspective shit that everyone acknowledges, so people don't like just one side of duke.

I think the point is the reasoning behind a lot of the opinions. I've seen maybe a couple post of legit criticism, and these ppl leave it at that and move the rest just sounds like hate and u can clearly tell they didn't "listen" to the album. This isn't an album u put it in, let it ride one time through and u got the big picture. Its just not.

This appears to be pretty popular

No disrespect, but MAJOR no sign on the bolded. Not so much on the BP3 thing, that's your opinion. But KC and AG were good comeback albums, even though the former gets (unfairly) shitted on and the latter gets slept on as a concept album. Plus, Jay still got some kinks to work out to get back to his true form. Like I said earlier, no one in rap history has come back from such a fall from grace like Em has.

I never said KC or AG weren't good come back albums but they both had forced music on them. KC was rushed and it was more "I'm president Shawn Carter" than Jay Z while AG he had to revert back to pure coke raps just to appease ppl who didn't like KC. BP3 he finally merged with the times and he's been THAT Jay since
