eminems been garbage for a solid decade now. He was in my top 10, borderline top 5 after the eminem show but now theres no way you can objectively have in the top 10.

Can niggas still have Cube in their top 10 since he's been putting out garbage for the past 15 years?

People seem to forget that aside from being a group of talented MCs and singers, odd future as a collective are full-time trolls.

lmao, pretty good. Vince clearly needs to do more media, high quality trolling and solid delivery. 10/10

Here's my $0.02

Eminem's music/production is horrible but I can admit that he's good at putting words together.

I've heard some of his earlier work, before he blew up and I must admit he was a beast lyrically although his voice was annoying.

I remember during the MMLP/TES/8Mile era I was on the Davey D message boards and people were saying he was the GOAT but I was one of the few people saying he was wack. In hindsight, he wasn't wack but his production was awful and his voice was annoying.

When its all said and done, objectively I'd have to admit he's a top 10 rapper based on his success and skill set. But he's not top 5 because his discography sucks.

Having said that, I've never heard of Earl Sweatshirt.

Can somebody explain this?

^^^ Is this something a GOAT rapper would release?

When The Source listed its greatest Rhymes of all Time in 2002 (Roc a Fella On The Cover)..

Eminem Without Me made the list.. take that how you want it.

I think Benzino was using reverse psychology to make Eminem look wack.

I'd be ashamed if a magazine quoted that song and listed it in their top 100 verses of all time. For two reasons; First because he has better verses than that, but second because now, 10+ years later people who might not remember that song will go back and check it out and realize how horrible Eminem's production was.

Em had another verse on the list as well.. I have issue somewhere in a box.. It was broken down in categories (Battle Rhymes, Bragging Rights etc)

Damn, Em threads still go plat, huh? SMH. We're watching a sinking ship with his Shady Records. None of those acts are catching on. He let Slaughterhouse kill their own buzz with inactivity, pushing themselves back and canceling their own tour, and tonally backwards singles (Slaughterhouse singles: Hammerdance, My Life, Throw It Away, and Goodbye? FOHHH. More like Die, Back The Fuck Up or Juggernauts as a street single, Hammer Dance, Walk of Shame or the jawn with Busta, and the song with B.o.B. on it).

Wait until Em loses Shady Records. We'll get some interesting cuts out of this cat then. Pockets too swoll right now, but the bleeding has started, musically. His movie and TV shows are picking up, so that'll be the next excuse to put out cornball shit like the Southpaw songs.

How did I get two nosigns? Do you guys really think that song has merit?

Would you want that song (Without Me) quoted and used to represent your catalog?

I remember thinking that song was horrible when it was out, the lyrics might have been witty but it might be the worst beat I've ever heard.

Cuz Cube can still bring it. He's good for a few decent cuts each album. He's not putting out classics but to compare him to Eminem's level of falling off is wrong.

He was alright when I was a child/teenager.

Not a fan of him now though.

Exactly

That geek ass white boy shit was cool when a nigga ain't know no better

But is niggas still tuning in to see if Rita and zed gon finally do away with the power Rangers as adults?

Fuck no

Lol these Em conversations on here are pathetic. Yes he's not as good as he used to be but people don't need to straight disrespect the man when we know damn well if he came up to any of ya to battle you'd clam the fuck up. Every great diminishes eventually. Only difference is Em still can sell records without being half as good. A lot of factors go into that and while I thought MMLP2 was solid, I don't see him putting out a great album again.

Earl called the shit what it was but in reality it goes without saying. A lot of bitterness came from that from where Im sitting. Is he mad that no matter what he may do that he won't reach that height? Maybe. But why say that shit as a rapper if you don't feel that type of way?
