prior to last yr in some states a person has to file a police report, which can take hours, before the hospital performs a rape kit /test for date rape drugs; alleged victims were charged fees for rape kits; and rape kits were being destroyed without notifying the victim

prior to last yr in some states a person has to file a police report, which can take hours, before the hospital performs a rape kit /test for date rape drugs; alleged victims were charged fees for rape kits; and rape kits were being destroyed without notifying the victim

so this narrative that alleged victims have historically been coddled by the state is just false

Don't forget the fact that majority of rape kits end up sitting around collecting dust never actually being tested
