Does MF DOOM have more than 3 classics?

MF Doom was in a group called KMD that came out in 1991 when I was in high school. They released one album and then one of their members Subroc died. There was a another album called Black Bastards. I'm not sure if Subroc was on that album or if they made it after he died.

Anyway, this was the song that got burn when I was in high school

They did the album after Subroc died. Onyx the kid left after the first album. And Subroc and Zex X (Mf Doom) took over as the main rhymers on the album. Subroc was the producer and dj on the first album. But later became a mc.

So the Black Bastards album was just Zev Love X?

You have to listen, I can't describe it. But it's some of the most creative music I ever heard. It's humorous, lyrical and creative. But dark and street at the same time.

I'd compare dooms style to Lupe's. He likes schemes and stories and saying simple things in creative ways. Doom also produces his own music and the way he uses samples is dope. As a start I'd recommend mmm... Food

Huge Doom fan. Madvillainy is his only classic album to me. Although I can fo back to most of them and appreciate them all.

True. I think Vaudeville is great. Just not a classic, because of the skippers. For me, you can't have skippers on a classic. Doesn't mean it's not great.

But them other three DOOM LPs can rock without me pressing skip.
