somewhat off track but was discussing this with someone other day and topic was how in pornographic vids you will most likely find a woman blatantly wearing the cross whilst in the act etc.. now whether anyone wants to question whether pornography itself is sinful, feel free.. but i think (coming from a non christian person) I view it as pretty low to have it dangling round your neck when in a video like that... the 2 don't go together, especially when millions will view the pendant as sacred

I never said America completley mirrored the teachings of Christianity, I said the Mason's were major players in the creation of the American system. The bible seems to have scripture pointing to Capatalist view points, I said because Masons were primarily Christians, Washington and Franklin were Christians and Masons and had big roles in America's system, that the capatilist system we have could have brought forth by the bible.

And America is a Christian Nation sorry, look at presidents for example do you really think a person thats Islamic, a hindu, buddhist, or some other religion would be elected your crazy. The whole senate is Christian they decide on everything, its a Christian nation.

As for Hitler he says he was Christian your type argue he isnt because it doesnt say to exterminate jews, yet throughout history Christian crusades have aimed to create a fully Christian world. Hitler said he wanted to exterminate Jews because they were responsible for Jesus' death. Could this be a scapegoat yes, but it should also be looked at as possible truth, religion has made people do strange things, people all the time set out to do the work of god.

IMO nobody is truly Christian, everybody commits sin or at some point does something to contradict their beliefs. The difference is some people keep asking for forgiveness while others fail to acknowledge their sins. A "true christian" would have Gods power with them and be able to resist temptation of sin, no one that I know of has been able to therefore they are not true Christians in my eyes.

People who call themselves anything let alone a christian just gives me a heads up to the detours in the mental road I might encounter.

But who, from any faith, is able to do what their book tells without sinning at all at sometime?
Your telling me, America isn't a Christian nation?
I'd run with multicultural nation before anything else.

maybe Christian based (even thats kinda a push) but I cant really say its a Christian nation..............In order for it to be a truey Christain nation, The Nation would have to accept the Religion as the Country Religon, which We Really DOnt. For example, look at Countries in the Middle East and Islam. Islam is part of the Countries Culture, they (For the most part) embrace it. Can We Really and truly Say we embrace Christainty???? i jsut find that the Country is more Comftorble with it then other religons

They WERE Christians. A true follower of Christ's teachings would never label himself or affiliate himself with a religion. He would just be himself and be natural and obey/respect the laws of nature/god.
