i agree with everone here, movie was dope. the kkk scene was funny, Tarantino somehow made the most intisipated scene dealing with black slavery one of the funniest parts of the movie.

lol@ all that shit popping off because dude didn't want to shake his hand.

again, it was long, but still worth the watch.

sam jackson part was uncle tom to the T. at first i was think his character was like fittler from roots, but naw, he was way worst.

Seriously, for someone uncomfortable with the dialogue, Leonardo DiCaprio killed this shit. He seemed so comfortable saying some of that shit that I had to do a double take.

Shame the board won't give him an Oscar 'cause they think he's too good looking to take seriously. And Sam Jack... Uncle Ruckus would've hated Stephen. Just...ugh. Dope-ass movie that didn't even feel that long.

Academy Award Winner Louis Gosseit Jr Walks out of Django Unchained:

Academy Award-winning actor Louis Gossett, Jr., who starred in Roots, dismissed Tarantino’s critique, saying the Reservoir Dogs director was just “stirring stuff up” and making a “mockery” out of racism.

Gossett revealed that after seeing Django Unchained at a Malibu movie theater last weekend, he walked out within the first 20 minutes.

"Django is a very small speck on the horizon to what we should be giving energy to,” he said, adding how proud he was of American democracy and the re-election of President Obama. “I think we need to rely on how powerful of a people we are.”

Still can't believe dude talked sh!t about "Roots". To add insult to injury there are selling "Django" dolls. SMH @ once again watering down slavery:

I don't have a problem with seeing the movie or anyone that did but lets get this straight, this movie did nothing to alleviate the suffering of Africans and African Americans that were in bondage in this country. I don't want to preach or anything but for you guys to act like the subject matter is completely irrelevant is wrong IMO.

lol wtf?

since when do movies "alleviate suffering"?

I know I'm late but other people in the thread suggested that was what the movie did.

fuck django unchained i aint seeing that shit, Quentin got yall niggas bamboolzed, to the point he shitting on and got yall shitting Spike Lee the brother who held us down in the mid-late 80's and 90's.
