Rocky was in peak shape for a senior 9 years ago. It makes sense he'll outlive a lot of older folks and be more active. He didn't even have any vices that added to his already peak health in his prime. He's dealing with illness in this movie though. That's a big part of the story between Adonis and Rocky.

Based off the reviews so far I could see it getting a best original screenplay nod for Coogler just like Sly got for the original Rocky. I could also see a best supporting actor nod for Stallone. That's about it though.
