Just came from seeing it.

Just came from seeing it and I loved it. It was like I wanted more. Sad in some parts esp. with his girl and Rocky.

I hope they make a sequel to it. Shit it needs to be. The fight scenes were dope. I like how up close they were like you were in the ring with them. It made the hits more intense. I wish Phylicia Rashad was more in this though.

Dope movie....eyes got a lil warm
when he opened the package with the shorts and was reading the note.

They set it up for at least two sequels...one with old dude that put him down in Wood Harris gym and another with the dude he beat with the pop that snitched on who he was. I was kinda hoping Rocky would die in a pass the torch type of way and let Creed get the next good series with Wood Harris taking over as his trainer.

Lotta Meek Mill music played, I was like good for him. Meek needed this W.

Lol. Tone Trump cameo, nigga got knocked out.

Also shout out to Tony and Mike Wilbon, they was really discussing Apollo Creed like he was a real fighter and like it was a real episode of PTI.

I'm surprised that Donny didn't ask Rocky how could he let his dad die like that. "Why didn't you or Duke throw in the towel, Unc?

Adonis said that's the way Apollo would want it to be to go out a fighter.

When he was arguing with Rocky. Don't believe Donny wanted closure for that in particular.

That whole generation of 70's actors (Stallone, Pacino, De Niro, Keitel, Walken etc.) was really tough and paid a shit load of dudes on and off set. Michael B. Jordan who comes from a spoiled and sissified generation by comparison could always benefit from Sly's wisdom.

That's an idiotic statement.

Has Michael B Jordan said or done anything that would lead you to believe he's spoiled or sissified?

Besides it's not as if there weren't actors in the 70s who weren't pussies.

Michael B. Jordan is a whitewashed sissy type. Just watch his damn interviews if you want a source. Or look up how many times he's had to retract twitter statements. I like the dude's acting but he comes across as a punk.

Yeah but the ones who had prominent careers weren't is my point. Michael B. Jordan is still growing though. Dude ain't even out his 20's yet and a lot of those cats from the 70's were already in their 30's when they were where he is now. They were also in an era where actors got a rawer deal than today. They had a certain maturity to them through experience in the 60's and stuff that he still hasn't learned but could learn from cause that's why they're still in high regard. A lot of those guys like Nicholson or Sidney Poitier and James Caan.

Eat a dick

They're really talking oscars with this movie. Great

For Sly I'm not surprised. My cousin told me earlier that it's not only his best performance yet as Rocky but it might be his career best performance overall. I'll be catching this on Monday morning cause it was sold out yesterday. It would be poetic justice that he finally wins an oscar for the only role he was ever oscar nominated for.

I think it's gonna be very close between

Benicio Del Toro for Sicario, Sly for this movie and Tom Hardy for The Revenant when it comes to Best Supporting Actor next year.
