But when I watch the video on you tube the scenes go by so quick if I didn't know they were there I would miss them. That call sublimmenal messages. You got all these artist like Prodigy, Omarian and Tiffany Evans saying the industry is not what it appears, but you still defend this dude. Tiffany Evans twitted that the higher ups worship the Devil. And what reason does she have to lie? Then you got indrustry reps saying it and call Jay out by name. Then you got all these symbols on his clothing line. THen you have his lyrics. No matter what you believe all signs say something is going on. Maybe the Illimatia, Freemason and Satanic worship are not all link, (BUt other source been saying they are for decades back in my parent days) but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see Jay is part of something that is secret and not good.

or let's just talk about hip hop. how many rappers talk about drugs, violence, misogyny, and/or anarchy. these are all fine to christians as long they don't do anything that can perceived to be anti-jesus.

i know that. that's why i put those bible verses up. for all the devout christians who think that idea is blasphamous. even the bible says we are gods that are "made in his image". we have the potential to be great beings, we just choose not to be.

I I think those bible verses mean that we are not God but underneath him. If you notice the g is lowercase and not capital. I think those verses are saying "although you call yourselves some sort of gods, you are still judged by the one true God." The bible also say's that to become a child of God you must accept his son. if there is only one true god, then how can there be any other gods to worship? imo, if you believe in a higher power then it's all the same source. if you call him jehovah, allah, buddha, ra or whatever. and the driect quote is "you are all children of the most high". and the bible may say you reach god through christ(through his teachings), but i have yet to see a passage that says we are suppose to worship christ. i've read in the bible where jesus says "follow me", not worship me.

i'm sure that's true, but you don't have youtube videos getting 100,000 hits or 20 threads on hip hop forums talking about those other things. all the christians come out the woodwork to talk about jay-z's video, but you don't see the same level of attention to any of those other things. and a lot of the same people who listen to christian rap (or gospel for that matter) buy secular music and shake there ass to music with negative themes in the club every weekend. you can't preach to everybody else how to live their life, and then turn around and do the same thing or in some cases worse.

It funny how people are trying to say this guy is trying to make a name for himself, but he didn't say his name at all. And it is fun how people act like there are no rappers that speak against the ills that are talked about in hip-hop. But some of those ill are a reflection of the society that we live in. But all the stuff going on in the Jay-z video is not. You have little kids looking at that trash. My homie little girls love the Run this town song, but she calls it "I break the rules and I don't care". I just seen a commerial for a children cd with A beatuful nightmare(B song) on it. There is a differents between crime on the streets and devil worship. And maybe the Freemason don't deal with Satanic worship but they surely don't worship God ( not sure about the black Mason) and are against God and his followers. History has mark them with dealing with the Illumanti group aswell as many other groups.

yeah kids may see that video, but kids see the gucci video talking about getting wasted, or the trey songz video talking about inventing sex too. and i work with kids i can tell you they have a much better direct understanding about getting drunk and having sex than anything that's in that jay-z video. if you have a problem with the imagery in jay-z's video that's fine, but I want people to stop pretending that this video is any worse than a lot of imagery in other hip hop videos.

and you clearly don't know anything about freemasonry, cause if you did you would know that in order to be a mason you have to acknowledge that presence of god. you would also know that a lot christians are members of masonic lodges and it doesn't conflict with the beliefs. you would also know that a lot black preachers are masons. they're is nothing evil about being a mason.
