That's the point of him doing this.

He's raising the bar.

He knows it won't get much traction until one of the big wigs try to do it later (Nas, Jay, Em, Andre 3000 etc).

Look at the nearly 2,000 word article Toure wrote about Jay-Z’s verse on No Church In the Wild, since (in Toure's words) it combines "religion, spirituality, and philosophy."

LOL.

Bis been doing this for the past 10 years.

Rakim did it before both of them...so much for raising the bar.

/thread.

He went off the far end and I couldn't mess with him anymore. His debut was solid. But the last time I listened to him I was playing his Mic Club album which was good in my opinion.

Bis mentions this all the time.

As odd as it may seem, the Microphone Fiend

Is God of the Hip Hop regime, Planet Rock Supreme

(Poet Laureate Infinity)

The reason he did "100 Bars" is because Rakim did 99 on "Follow the Leader" and Bis wanted to top it.

Then he did 200.

Then he did 1,000.

Now he's doing 10,000.

Come on now, he took what Rakim did and raised the bar.

Canibus is a weird ass nigga...As a nigga who raps...And a nigga who respects the art of rapping...I say...Canibus is a weird ass nigga...

First off, this guy isn't Canibus. Y'all try too hard to discredit artists. You guys are the stereotypical bloggers/haters that everyone mentions in their interviews and what not.

Secondly, Canibus fell off in 2003. Though he does have some good and even great verses from time to time, his overall delivery and skill is no longer there.

Another thing that needs to be cleared up, that Arab dude did not beat Bis. Bis had him beat the first 2 rounds but he fucked around and had to forfeit since he didn't prepare correctly. He forgot that what you give is what you get. If you don't put in the work, you will look like a fool during game-day.

... With all that said, I will still check for his new shit just to see if there's any gems on it.

I aint tryna hear no 9 hours of Canibus..

he need to get the fuck on with that bullshit..

or break that shit down and give it to us in increments..

LOL.

It's not 9 straight hours of him rhyming.

It's 9 hours of combined material.

It's not for everyone, but curiosity will get the best of you.

Yo y’all want to hear this shit or not? Yo, don’t be a dick man. He came out here and you paid him his bread, they paid their bread. Let him spit his shit! Do you want to hear this shit or not?”

Bis went from B-)

To [-(

To :-SS

Then whippin' out a Barnes & Noble pad while his legion of backpackers clutched their craniums in disbelief. Where I come from actions like that should not go unpunished.

You don't understand anything.

He took out the pad after he forfeited the battle. What he did was honorable. Despite after respectfully bowing out and forgetting his rhymes, he still wanted to give the rhymes that the fans paid for. He explicitly stated during the battle, you paid your bread, you want to listen to rhymes, then let me spit the rhymes I prepared for you. Why is that a bad thing? He tried his best to give the fans what they want. You know what should be punished, all the garbage rappers makin money, and all the big name rappers who laugh at Canibus, but are too scared to step in the ring with Dizaster. Canibus should be respected for putting everything on the line and actually stepping up to the plate. Even Dizaster commended him saying that "NO ONE would have done this."

You don't punish a man who has been working nonstop tirelessly for 15 years writing advanced rhymes. And he's not a lazy rhymer, you can hear the aggression in his delivery everytime he spits.

You should be punished for disrespecting a legend who has given everything to Hip Hop.

That shit wasnt honorable, that was blatant disrespect.... Thats like Kobe sayin, ¨im outta shape yall, and too tired to finish dis game, but yall can watch me play a game of around da world¨ ... He had time to prepare, just like every other battle rapper. And like dizaster said, he tryed to get over on KOTD with da contract. What he did was nothin but disrespect...
