Canibus lost when he decided to join the military rather than continue with his career.

False. He merely took a break. He was rhymin even in the military. You can see vids of him rappin with tanks in the background in his army fatigues.

lol...i'm watching his KOTD rap battle. Da fuck happened to this nigga? It looks like he peaked with his first single, and his first rhyme book, and has been recycling the same rhymes and themes ever since.

And damn...dizaster went in on him hard. Especially the "LL livin' in a ridiculously priced suburb..." line

UPDATE 2nd Round: lulz, Canibus resorting to racial epithets. That's when you know he has nothing else to say. LOL @ Dizaster ending the second round with "Fuck outta my face". lol

The fuck are you watching the battle for? This ain't no promo for that old ass battle, this is about Rip the Jacker 2 Infinity.

And no, he didn't peak with his first single. Have you not heard Mic Club: The Curriculum, Rip the Jacker, 2000 B.C., Def Con Zero, For Whom The Beat Tolls, Poet Laureate Infinity, Melatonin Magik, Lyrical Law, and C of Tranquility? Canibus has only constantly improved, you have NO clue about anything. Also, he hasn't been recycling shit. The only times he recycles is when he purposely recites an old line as an allusion or reference, it's very rare. He has written more original bars than any rapper in the history of existence and that is 100% indisputable fact.

I bet you didn't even watch the videos I posted of his new material. He has advanced bars for days. Don't judge him based on the bars from the battle. He clearly didn't do his best. As he stated in the 2012 A.D. track: "Choked up, so what he was defeated, but if he was in that zone he'd tear you to pieces."

Are you Canibus?

I stopped checking for Canibus after Rip The Jacker, but if production will be as suited as on that album, I'll give it a chance.

I'm guessing you have to have some kind of music editing software to customize. Highly original concept. Taking the idea from his one song and applying it to a whole album. Shit is crazy. In a good for hip hop kinda way.

how the fuck do you customize beats and lyrics on a dvd???

Watch the second video I posted in the OP. The DVD comes with mixing software that always you to chop his acapella vocals so that you can rearrange the lyrics and you can add your own custom beat or your favorite beats that already exist.

1. Canibus wrote lyrics to cater to a crowd who likes jokes over bars. Those are NOT the type of lyrics you will hear on the new album, go listen to the promo vids to get a taste of what's on the new album.

2. Eminem talks about killing his girlfriend and mom, tying Dre up in the basement, has farting noises in his songs, doing little boys and then says "oops I mean girl, girl girl girl, you know your my world," and other disturbing things and yet he gets a pass? Gtfo.

So how come he can't write lyrics that cater to a crowd that likes to listen to music that doesn't sound like it written in hieroglyphics and carved in the ancient tombs of the Lost Ark?

im saying tho bis ... this may be a little too advanced for the avg fan. somebody like me might fuck wit it just to experience it, but i wouldnt advertise this as one of the top features for the double disc. cause at the end of the day, an accapella of all the songs would suffice for someone who wanted to go that far indepth

i think what you should do is what you said you didnt want to do on that interview on rap city you did with big tigger when can i bus was first released

you said something along the lines of "this isnt a mixtape, its not a mistake" basically saying we shouldnt expect the same shit you were spitting on mixtapes to be all over the album. but really thats what fans want from you. we dont want too many concept albums like how jay z and nas etc do it. we want you to do "beast from the east" and "buckingham palace" type shit FOR A WHOLE ALBUM like 12 or 13 tracks of raw spit, hardly any choruses etc.

what you can do is have beats that have that uptempo "winter warz" (wu tang) type feel and have those slower tempo more melodic visual/thought proking beats and just spit... what ever happens happens

i think thats what your fans have wanted from you since day one. sometimes you over complicate shit. just keep doing what you do best ... coming outta nowhere with perfect repetition and advanced word play over energetic beats with features and cameos from other good rappers (where the fuck is the mc named "the journalist" from the B.C. album anyway????) and hip hop beat makers here and there

Wait, I just realized. So, you mean to tell me, you're gonna give us 9 hours of accapellas and beats, and allow us to mix them together? Like, what a DJ does when he blends? And this is supposed to be advanced shit? Get this nigga the fuck outta here. That's what Serato is for.

Because he was in KOTD's turf, under their contactual agreement, in front of their audience.

With his music, he can reach any crowd he wants, but his music is meant for every single sentient being in the Universe, including those who are not from Earth.

What you are saying is that intelligent rhymes and dropping knowledge aren't things that appeal to music listeners because they have below average intelligence and only like mind numbing nonsense with no variety.

Hip hop back then used appreciate artists who drop knowledge like KRS-One, Common Sense, Black Star, but now that's frowned upon by people like you and the lyricists get pushed into the underground or never break into the mainstream.

I can turn your question around and ask why can't "2 Chains cater to the audience who appreciates the pure artform of Hip Hop?"

Team Notepad in full effect

Team "I hate Hip Hop and advanced rhymes" in full effect.

Go back to listening to Tyga and 2 Chains.

This is a strange comment. So if somebody doesnt like Canibus of all people your sayin they hate hip hop? Tyga and especially 2 chains are better at making songs people like listening to. People like lashing out at people who enjoy popular songs on here. Theres nothin wrong with somebody liking Canibus, Tyga, or 2 chains or anybody else.

Canibus is giving you songs, 9 hours of material already mixed. Custom mixing is optional.

He have you 9 hours of music you can listen to and bump without lifting a finger.
