Before the verse started when he was like " this goes out to you..and you..and you I was thinkimg How the hell is he gonna rap over a beat that stops and starts towards the end of each loop like this? Then he kick that powerful first verse, I couldnt even believe it! Then after his last lyric " and you still recoupin, stupid" I was just siiting there in a room fulla smoke amazed at how he held his own with that type of beat. I felt like i had just heard some next level shit. For a 1997 beat that was crazy

E Somebodys gotta die is second because the story is so powerful and me being from cali i can relate to drive by retaliations and when that baby cryin at the end I still feel some type of way inside. Maybe because again ive been in that type of mix before to where that song conjured up my own memory
