Pete Rock, Wayne and now Soulo. Past, present and future. 3 different coasts. This is no longer opinion, this is an intervention.

And this ain't 2006, Jeezy ain't here to say these dudes don't bust their guns.

You mean past, past, and never

It ain't a east coast,West coast or down south thing..niggas who likes hiphop, just want new niggas to take this culture seriously. Show some pride in rapping

Soul need to worry bout his own shit

I partially agree tho

But is it so wrong for a nigga to not like a premo beat or does he have to to appease these hip hop heads who don't buy or keep up with hip hop for real anyway? Folks more focused on the few who come off as not "for the culture" who are not really even factors, than the young up starts who u know at least put an effort into not being bullshit

If he ain't like the beat he ain't like the beat.... with that said its a generation gap. These youngins don't like that we grew up on. It is what it is.

Just make you realize how good we had it, we grew up on our parents soul and the beginning of hip hop, after a while shit's not the same no more, everything runs it course

It ain't that he ain't like the beat, he said, "if you play one of those old beats I'm not rapping on it, I'm a rock star". Brah in hip hope there are less than 10 artist that have earned the title of rock stars. Fuck no he ain't one of them.

That excuse only goes so far, bruh. Do you not listen to stuff your parents grew up on, or at least have an appreciation for it?

There's a clear distinction between us and them. For most of us, even if we don't necessarily like some of the older stuff, we respect it for what it may have done for the culture. And at the very least, even if we don't respect it, we normally don't go out of our way to bash it.
