Fucked up thing is that it kinda has potential, shit simply doesnt deliver.

U might wanna pick up a history book ....the battle of thermipolae was more of a naval engagement than anything the 300 shit is what they chose to isolate

lmao there is absolutely nothing historically accurate about the 300 movies.

in this movie(and also the first) it was stressed that sparta gave everything, king, men, everyone lol, now at the end, all of a sudden the queen of sparta has a thousand souljahs with a hundred ships to spare? I get how they can still have ships, but all those men?

Sparta has thousands of men in the movie but the senate or whatever wouldn't let Leonidas use them.

Fuck what you heard, this movie was the shit. The original 300 had the superior lead character in Leonidas, but in overall terms of what a movie brings to the table, 300: Rise of an Empire had more depth and was more of an all-encompassing movie than the first. Everybody had a purpose, everybody had a fleshed-out backstory, the action was top notch, the battle tactics were well-executed, and even though Themisticles wasn't as inspiring as Leonidas he was still great. And Eva Green's sex scene >>>>>>>>>> Lena Heady's sex scene in the first.

I came in this movie hoping it would be half as good as the first, and it blew my expectations away. It was a better film than the first 300 to me, and that's saying a lot.

Seen it...

its quite the letdown
wtf? Leonidas just died and all of a sudden there are a couple thousand spartans with a hundred ships ready to defeat xerxes navy? Story didnt make any sense...

Fam they explained this not only in this movie but in the first one too. Leonidas didn't have the support of the council in the first film and so could only take a small company of men. The Persians killing him, the Spartan king, was essentially a declaration of war, which meant the entire Spartan army could be called to action. It made perfect sense.

who did Eva green smash? please tell me it was a lesbian scene with Lena Heady.....

She smashed Themisticles, the Greek naval commander, after she requested a personal audience that everyone in the theater knew was gonna end with some fucking as soon as she emerged with a titty sticking out.

Only disappointment for him was that he turned her offer to join her down before he got to nut. I would have given that bitch the silent treatment until I let off in them sugar walls.

This will be good, I hope Iran catches as many feelings over this as they did for 300. They were as mad as hornets back then.

300 Sparks an Outcry in Iran

All of Tehran was outraged. Everywhere I went yesterday, the talk vibrated with indignation over the film 300 — a movie no one in Iran has seen but everyone seems to know about since it became a major box office surprise in the U.S.....

Lol!! Nigga I was thinkin the same thing. Hell I would've lied and said "Aiight," buss, and then hit wit the "Aye about what I said, I ain't gonna be able to do that cuz."

Lol @ the look he and his potnas gave to each other when he got back.

Dope movie, always enjoyed the cinematic approach to the 300 series. Like Rubato said the interwoven plot was a nice touch too

First

1. Xerxes is gay as hell with his Men on Film outfits

2. Eva Green and Monica Belluci are my two goat white bitches in movies, guaranteed to see titties and pussy

3. Smash Leonitus wife, she gave the pussy away to some regular nigga for a political move. I know I could fuck

4. If you studied Western Civ you would know it was Xerxes who actually united Greece

It was aiight!

I think it was a more complete movie than the first but I guess the originality and just how good an action actor Gerard Butler is just makes me prefer the first one.

I still smirk at the undercover propaganda of both movies but it's whatever.

Best part of this movie was that bitches titties

cot dayum they were sitting up. Went with a chick and even she had to admit that bitches titties were goat.

Funny enough I don't even like that actresses face lol she just an ok becky to me.

Cosign what was said earlier, I was in the movie theater like y tf this nigga gave her an answer and ain't buss yet....bitch would've had me agree to redecorating my place with polka dots while I was in that pussy.....afterwards though

Nahh bitch.

I'm I the only one who doesn't like Leonidas wife's arrogant ass?

All the bs could've been avoided if they joined up with Athens navy from the jump

And yeah just like the first its loaded with a bunch of racial undertones @‌Gns

And when is xerxes ginna lay the hands of god king on someone?

And what kind of powers was he granted?

And he reminded me of en saba nur

Spartans only could have the lifestyle they had because of all the slavery they had in their society. They were pricks.

And yeah Leonida's wife a total cunt. Talkin bout how bad her losses were and shit. She was selfish as hell. And seeing her on the battle ships fighting was the worst part of the movie. That was laughable.

Actually, the worst part was the Acadian from the first movie who rode up on a horse and yelled "Leonidas was betrayed by a hunchback!" That shit cracked me up.

When Persians are the antagonist their potrayed by brown people when Persians are the protagonist thier played by Jake gyllenhall

Lmao

Hollywood bro

Greeks look like northern europeans in this series eventhough they look like turkish peeps in real life lol

who really cares in the end though

movie was entertaining but lacked butlers one liners and overall epicness imo, navy battles were weak as fuck(dutchman here, I know bout them voc battles).

gonna watch the next one no doubt.
