The battle on ep 9 was beautifully epic. Like how everybody had to make snap decisions on where their loyalties lied. And all that shit happened right before the opening credits. Dope way to kick off the episode.
I wish mei lin joined up with lotus. A side plot about some super assassins tryna get the song dynasty back woulda been dope. Way better than that wackass blue princess shit.

The one thing I actually don't like about this show is the fist fight schemes. They are beautifully choreographed but MMA has just ruined me as to what real fights look like.

I'm glad the khan realized chabi just did what was necessary. Cuz as fucked up as that was and how it ruined fake kokachin, it was justified.
Nice (well not really 'nice' but...well done) contrast between chabi and the khan both having to kill kids for the sake of maintaining their power.

Lmao the ages on this show with their kids is not realistic. She pumps out Achmed at 14, Shes 35 in that scene at Achmed in the past is supposed to be a young man or whatever it's possible.
Kaidu's kids look they're only 10 years younger than him.

Have y'all seen that hundred eyes origin story? He's such a good character.
It also reinforced my mixed feelings about the khan. He's a more liberal and dare I say merciful ruler than his grandfather. He lets people practice their religions keep their traditions and even allows some of em to gain titles of importance based on their value, which is very forward thinking....but at the same time it's like well if you weren't such a murderous conqueror and minded your damn business you wouldn't need to be like that in the first place.
