Childish Gambino New "Royalty" Mixtape July 4th

This will be bumping for a while. I'm loving this tape. The only mixtape I like more is KRIT's best work ever, Forever N A Day, out of the releases this year.

Childish Gambino New "Royalty" Mixtape July 4th

Tight mixtape, but all his material since Culdesac has been tight. This will be getting regular spins on my end.

Look at how Jay looked at Kim K lol

I'm at work right now dying of laughter reading this thread. Thank you.

I don't know if this one's been done. Best double album.

Props for whoever mentioned American Hunger. It's 3 CDs where I enjoy every single track. Anyway, as far as double disc goes the top 3 are Wu-Tang Forever, Life After Death, Art of War.

Del & Parallel Thought: Attractive Sin Drops 19th June / New Mixtape Drops - WCA

Dope album. His recent stuff is hit or miss, but I was feelingnboth of his recent West Coast Avengers mix tapes. This newest is his best album since his joint release with Tame One. Before that, his Funk Man album was dope. His other releases are a bit spotty (aside from his Avengers mixtapes)...

    Canibus Vs, Dizazster....

I feel you. It's like watching my childhood die in front of me. This is one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever watched. The silence as his brain was scrambling for bars was really tough to watch, but then him taking out his notebook topped that level of discomfort. I think even some...

    Canibus Vs, Dizazster....

I honestly felt sorry for Canibus. Diz won, but it was the way Canibus lost that bothers me. I need a drink :(

I'm watching the PPV now. It's good so far.

Big Krit "Live from the Underground" (Official Discussion Thread).

It's funny how people keep bringing up KRIT Wuz here and Return of Foreva as if Foreva and a Day(his best mixtape so far) didn't drop a few months ago. Are folks sleeping on that? He has grown as an MC as seen on that album (the production is always tight).

who better overall Big Pun or Biggie

For starters, I'm seeing now I mixed you up with another poster. I'll add just one more reply to you. Have you ever seen Pun battle? I'm sure he wouldn't sound like he did on Dream Shatterer. If you think otherwise, feel free to post the video. We have at least one battle of Biggie on tape/video...

who better overall Big Pun or Biggie

Neither is spittin multis with the same flow for one entire album. You mention those other MCs but forget to mention that Big did have slick ass phors, tight bars, and switched up his flow a lot for with ease. Again, you mention how 2Pac/Big stans are the worse, but you're coming across just as...

who better overall Big Pun or Biggie

How is Pun better overall as a rapper if it's acknowledged by everyone that Biggie was a better storyteller, was more diverse, and switched up his flow more? Being a better storyteller plays into the "better lyricist" argument. To the one that keeps going on and on about lyrics, you're starting...

who better overall Big Pun or Biggie

Does anyone honestly think Pun could spit like he did on Dream Shatterer against BIG for 3 rounds? We'll never know but my gut says no. Could BIg spit like he did on Long Kiss Goodnight for 3 rounds? We'll never know, but my gut says yes. Let's please stop this lyrics PUN > BIG as if joints...

who better overall Big Pun or Biggie

Who has more albums and tracks you'd rather hear? If you're being honest and a hip-hop fan, I don't understand how anyone could say Pun over Biggie. I'm a big fan of both, but there are many more songs/features by Biggie that I'd rather listen to than Pun's. For Pun, I listen to Capital...

Big Krit "Live from the Underground" (Official Discussion Thread).

His last 3 mix tapes are better, but he isn't constrained to making an album the label wants so of course he'll sound better with no constraints. While his mix tapes are an easy 5/5 for me, this album is a solid 4/5. Still one of the better albums (albeit, not the best) of 2012.
