I expected 40-50 K for Spitta and KRIT.

Both have good underground fanbases, but still haven't reached a certain plateau.

Don't get me wrong, they deserver more sales IMO, but aren't there popularity-wise.

I was surprised at the good turnout of Curren$y's show over the weekend though

I hope KRIT throws another show in Starkville when the fall semester starts. Like others have said though, really only two wack songs on this project. Honestly I never heard Money On The Floor before I got the album, lol. I'm diggin' the production overall.

Damn thought Krit would do at least 80-90k....those are real good numbers for Spitta though

Lol I guess Krit's numbers dispell the whole def jam buys albums thing

@hip-hopisalive

Damn near the whole album knocks bro lol...I can tell he put the emphasis on the base...made this album for niggas to ride too

oh of course. I just felt that the drums on What U Mean were the hardest. but it's definitely got a lot of emphasis on the bass. It just doesn't sound right if I don't have the volume up loud lol

Bought it from Target today and listened to it once. It's good but not better than Krit Wuz Here or Return of 4eva. I do think samples might have had something to do with it. I mean I have really high expectations for Krit so it's hard for me to rate it right now. But objectively with no expectations maybe a 4. On further listens I gotta see if it will grow on me more.

I read XXL today and they gave it an XL and the Curren$y album a L.

It's funny how people keep bringing up KRIT Wuz here and Return of Foreva as if Foreva and a Day(his best mixtape so far) didn't drop a few months ago. Are folks sleeping on that? He has grown as an MC as seen on that album (the production is always tight).

Two major hip-hop releases dropped this week: Curren$y’s The Stoned Immaculate and Big K.R.I.T.’s Live From The Underground on June 5. Hits Daily Double has gathered the sales predictions for both albums, which should be on target to meet their numbers.

Spitta’s ninth studio album, which features Big K.R.I.T., Wiz Khalifa and Estelle, is projected to sell 40,000 to 45,000 copies. K.R.I.T’s Def Jam debut is projected to sell the same amount. Currently, Adele’s 21 is at #1, tying the record for fourth longest run on top of the album charts alongside Purple Rain and Saturday Night Fever soundtracks.

Yea I kinda expected the album to do those numbers.

Naw Ion think they're sleeping on it. Compared to "KRIT Wuz Here" & "Return of 4Eva", "4 Eva N A Day" isn't better than those, IMO. Don't get me wrong "4Eva N A Day" was dope and I still bang that shit. I just don't think that's his best tape. and I think people feel the same way...

I'll be honest I prefer 4evanaday and Live From The Underground over R4 and Krit wuz Here. I dont know why, because I've listened to all of them entirely, but his first 2 mixtapes I only really went back to a couple songs on them, whereas with 4eva and Live I can just ride out with the entire album.

I will say though, I've figured out Krit's biggest flaw. and thats his hook writing. just listen to the hook on songs like What U Mean, Got This, My Sub pt. 2, Yeah Dats Me. He's more or less just repeating the same few words over and over again. I feel that if he can improve on that for the next album (or mixtape, not sure if he's still going to do them or not) then it'll be that much closer to a classic.
