For me, I don't owe anyone anything. If I'm not contractually obligated, then I simply do what I desire. It just so happens that I desire helping close family and sometimes don't mind giving gifts (never loans) to friends or even tipping waitresses and such. But if you think I owe you something, you're out of your mind.
