I bet that was about The Rock lol.

I remember being on a wrestling forum when they dug up some old wrestling forums and they saw people complaining about The Rock & Austin they were so salty...

Mae Young's pregnancy is sick.

Since Angel slammed her down, do you think WWF would be so crude

and twisted to follow through with a miscarriage story?

Ok, I know I will be eaten alive for saying this, But damn The Rock isn't that

bad. Now all due respect for wreslters Benoit, HHH and the other technical

wreslters, but The Rock is good. I mean quickly think of one wreslter who has 5

or more moves.

I thought of The UnderTaker With The Tombstone, The

Chokeslam, The last ride, The walk on ropes, the running DDT. And then I

thought of The Rock, His spit, slap combo, Peoples Elbow, Rock Bottom, the

great DDT he does.

Their are others I know but I just can't think of any. But

when you look at HHH you have the Pedigree and the twisting keck breaker. And

Benoit has the German suplex and the Crossface. The Rocks gimmick still sucks

but his skills rule. X-Pac is still the worst wrestler.

Mic skills: Kurt Angle does have the ability to speak fluent English, I will

give him that. However, outside of pompous arrogance, he has no ability

whatsoever to display emotion. Compare him to Jake Roberts or even a Hugh

Morrus, and he doesn't stand up. Grade: C-

In-ring skills: He is incredibly green. He looks like he belongs with the

Natural Born Thrillers rather than with the WWF title. He needs to spend a few

years in Japan learning from people that know how to wrestle. Grade: D

Motivating the crowd: Just listening to the crowd response from Monday tells

the story: no one knows if they're supposed to boo or cheer him, even though

he's an obvious heel. That's because he has no idea how to work a crowd, like

Hulk Hogan. Grade: F

Overall: It's unbelievable someone as untalented as Mr. Angle could rise so

high so quickly. No, I shouldn't be... WWF is turning into WCW, and Angle is

their Goldberg. Overall, D-.

it so fucking stale even the fucking ethopians don't fucking want it. for

fucks ske it makes WCW look like the Man Utd and WWF look like the fucking

wankchester city.

if the WWF doesn't change then it will get lower ratings than the XFL

I have to complain about the ending of Wrestlemania. I had a hunch they

where going to let Austin win, fine. I had a hunch he was going to turn

heel, fine. But, they lackluster ending was dumb. After the Rock to beating

after beating and kick out after kickout, why did they end it when they did.

If they wanted a good ending they either would have let the Rock win with a

spectacular comeback or have Austin at least win legitimately. But, no they

can't have a clean match or an upset victory at Wrestlemania. Same old shit

different day. Only this day was $40 down the drain. Anti-climactic ending

to Wrestlemania.

While it was a great swerve it was a big mistake by the WWF, here are the

reasons why:

Austin getting bigger pops then the Rock in recent weeks

All the anti Rock signs in the crowd lately

The Rock was waaaaaaaaaay better as a heel then a face

The crowd STILL cheering when Austin won.

Austin should have stayed face and the Rock should have turned heel!

Pure comedy here

Test. This guys gimmick is good as anyone, the next HBK perhaps and his music is good too. he needs a

singles compitition push. I dont care If he doesn't talk but just make him

wrestle.

Gangrel and Edge. These guys should get a Hardcore belt or join the

Undertaker or something. The way there going there becoming jobbers fast.

Jarret. self explanatory

You couldn't make this shit up

Tori: she has destroyed Kane, makes him look like a fool, when he

should be among the elite. She should just pal up with another waste

of time, like..

X pac: the punk only has one move, and im sick of seeing it...his

pathetic backward kicks. He is a waste of time, and should be over

New Age Outlaws: Billy Gunn has a couple of OK moves, the

jackhammer being his best, but his personality ruins everything.

And the Road Dogg looks like an idiot, who likes this guy ANYWAY?

Stephanie: should just shut up and look slutty. Its all she has

going for her. She looks pathetic doing the DX chop

British Bulldog: Davey Boy is shadow of the man he was when

Dynamite was his partner. He looks ridiculous, and he can take the

Posse with him to lame land

why are some of these guys on TV every week when talents like Gangrel

have disappeared?

They use love Test back in the day

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/alt.pro-wrestling.wwf/slBPDk3Vae0

In my opinion these are the wrestlers that we should one day see as world

champion in the WWF.

WRESTLERS PROBABILITY

Test 10

Shamrock(when he returns) 8

Mark Henry 7

(He's contracted to WWF til 2007 so it is likely)

Road Dogg 8

Badd A$$ 8

Edge 7.5

X-Pac 7.5

Goldust 7

Val Venis 6.5

Al Snow 6.5

n my opinion, the top stars in 10 years time will be (and compared to

current stars):

1. Jeff Hardy (next shawn michaels)

2. Test (next dominant big man, i.e. Undertaker or Diesel)

3. Edge

4. Christian

5. Stevie Richards

6. D-Lo Brown (next Rock)

8. Lita

lol at the bolded

People hating on Stone Cold say it ain't so

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/alt.pro-wrestling.wwf/Y_DRw9AdCmQ

If the WWF has Austin Beat HHH cleanly for the title I WILL NEVER

WATCH THE WWF AGAIN. I mean come on, a fat out of shape red neck that

does not have an drop of wrestling ability beating the best man in

wrestling Today, maybe of all time. The wwf has gone too far this time.

HHH has been busting his ass off for years and is the best damb wrestler

in the world and what does he get for his hard work. TO be beat by some

cripple who can't wrestle.

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/alt.pro-wrestling.wwf/Jqnavl_GEvQ

If Austin beats Triple H cleanly at Survivor Series it will truly show to me

that the writers have no intelligence at all. Austin is only a mid-carder

after his injury. I thought he was gonna fall down the ramp on Smackdown

when he was running toward the ring.

I don't think any intelligent person could truly believe that Austin could

beat Triple H without interference. Austin and Rock fending off all 4

Radicalz was bad enough, but beating Trip is a whole different thing, I

think everyone knows that Trip is the number 1 and that Austin is so well

below his best.

I just have this feeling the SCSA is gonna have another 'invincible' run

again and it will just make watching unentertaining.......any opinions?

This muhfucka said Stevie Richards....

Stevie fucking Richards a star?

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell naaaaaw

I cant understand why everybody still boos Hardcore Holly. First of all,

he has some of the most kick-ass music i have heard. as soon as i hear

it i want to pump my fist in the air and hurt somebody.

And he talks some good smack without having the same stupid repetitive

lines. And hey, he can wrestle too.

My prediciton is he will turn into the NEXT peoples champ, because for a

long time, everyone booed the Rock, and now they love him. Hardcore

Holly, the NEW peoples champ is next.

Well at least this next guy wasn't too far off for better or worse

.I think edge is the next big superstar, and the future of wrestling

...i bet in 3 or 4 years , him and jeff hardy will headline

wrestlemania 20 !....give me a hell yeah , if you agree !

Ummm, why does the WWF only have 3 wrestlers? OK, that's an obvious

understatement but you have to admit the talent pool in the WWF has turned

into a kids wading pool over the last few years. From having so many names,

so much talent, so many angles and stories to this. Rock vs HHH, HHH vs

Rock, Rock n HHH vs Big Show, Rock vs HHH. Maybe the talent pool is more

akin to one of those inflatable pools with the mini turtle slide.

I'm probably one of the few that have no loyalties between WWF and WCW, but

lately WCW has been more entertaining. IMHO.

All the Stone cold car incident facts have arrisin.

It all goes back to when Owen Hart tombstoned Austin and did his neck

in, this got Austin Anrgy. So to pay him back, Austin tampered with Owens

safety harness which resulted in Owen Harts own neck to break and theresofre

resulted in his untimely death.

Bret HArt (Owens brother) put two and two together and mowed down Austin

in the car park finishing off Austins neck, and his wrestling career.

The end of this apalling turns of events.

^ LMAO

You wanna talk about the WWF's current version of Hogan? Think Austin. Think

back to the PPV before the Raw that HHH one his first title. It was threeway

with Ventura as special ref. Austin REFUSED to drop the title to Triple H

because he didn't think he was in his league. Triple H had to go and win it

the next night. How's that for a Hogan comparision?

1. McMahons taking centre stage. the people want to see wrestlers. Does

everybody not think that Vince was better as a commentator, the promoter

promoting his own company.

2. Every Raw and Smack Down has 20 minutes of interviews. We want wrestling

action!

3.Unbelievable story lines the marriage of Triple H /Steph, Foley's first

'retirement'

4. Poor mic skills - Steph, Shane, Linda, Big Show I'm looking in your

direction

5. The Rock's catchphrases suck

6. Talented wrestlers who need good angles X Pac and Kane.

7. Remember when Test was engaged to Steph- he was over with the fans but

they didn't follow it up. Now he's back to jobbing.

8. Jericho is the best all round athlete in WWF-push him (further)

9. Backstage crap involving Bossman, Terri and Head cheese

10. The minute Austin and Undertaker come back WWF ratings will increase.

until Vince screws Austin over at a PPV. Yawn .

More love for Test

> Test

> ***Looks good, but those buck teeth... Still, it's not holding Holly back

> much? Aligning him with the Union is cool - three top-liners and Test kind

> of makes Test a top-liner by default. Needs to rely less on the Big Boot

> (the most hideous move in wrestling history)***

Its a good idea to algin him with established stars such as mankind etc,

they a good crowd reaction as does Test. I think that Test would also make

a good Hardcore wrestler.

There should be a special has-been-cant-wrestle match between stone

cold and the rock at survivor series.

The championship belts seem to be like Stephanie McMahon at the moment,

everyone gets a turn.

There are too many freakin' belts! What next? Bring back the WCW Hardcore

Championship and all the ECW Titles?

This is insane.

Although Rock -vs- Austin at Wrestlemania isn't the ideal match I'd want to

see in that main event it looks as if that may well happen if Rock can beat

Kurt Angle at NWO.

If this is the main event will this result in either Rock or Austin turning

heel or will they use the match to play 2 of their top faces against

eachother to see who really is the most popular of the two?.

I've said this many times before but I feel that Rock needs a heel turn, he

seems to be getting more stale than ever and if I were Vince, I'd consider

revamping the Rock.

I totally agree with you. Most ppl who criticize Rock ignore the

fact that he is the reason why WWF is so big now so why fix

something that isn't broken? Every time I watch Raw or Smackdown

the pop he receives is always bigger than any other so-called

"better" wrestler. Even Jericho does not have his popularity. I

think a lot of his critics just want to go against the mainstream

by trying to popularize this notion of him not being a true

wrestler. Fact is even if he wants to do technical moves a la

Benoit, Jericho, or Eddy Vince Mac would not let him do it so why

even argue?

The Rock has an arsenal of a collective 5 moves and that includes that thing he does with his tongue during

the mic part.

The Rock's German suplex on Chris Benoit (RAW 07/08/00) was sloppy and

downright dangerous. The Rock should immediately be sent south to work on

his technique before his lack of skill and ability causes someone serious

injury.

This is not an opinion, it is a statement of fact.

OK, first off - Wasn't Eddie's frogsplash a tribute to his old tag team partner that passed away?

And now Chavo does it as a tribute to his uncle that passed away. Some things never change.

Awww shit look at these niggas hyped about Juan Cena coming to WWE. What a difference 13 yrs makes.

If you don't know who the Prototype is, he is a wrestler from UPW who is

very talented and very soon, he will be wrestling a dark match at a coming

RAW in Southern California, along with some other UPW wrestlers who have

been signed by the WWF. WWF has signed over 12 wrestlers from the UPW

Wrestling School.

The Prototype claims to be "half-machine, half-man:" He is perhaps the

greatest talent in a long time to come to WWF. I don't know when he will

have his first real match, but with any luck it will be soon.

A few weeks ago I caught a documentary type show on the Discovery Channel (I

think) about pro-wrestling and they featured wrestlers from UPW, Prototype

being among them. Man, what a bod!! And he looked pretty good in the ring

too. I don't think it'll be too long before we see him in the televised

matches.

Reactions to "I did it for The Rock"

Rikishi Did It ! Nobody guessed it or came close . What is with the

racism angle ? Doesn't Vince know about the WCW racism lawsuit ? This

is going to get some Major Heat , I mean real life heat . Did you hear

the pop Hogan recieved when Rikishi said his name ? Rikishi vs Austin

, well i'm not sure of this angle at all . Guess we will have to wait

and see where Vinny Mac takes this . Personally there were so many

other greater angles . Such as :

Shawn Michaels did it for his buddy HHH and because his last match was

with Austin , this makes sense .

Debra did it because > 1.) to have Austin to herself 2.) Austin

made Jarrett , who she managed , leave WWF for WCW so she wanted

revenge .

Hell even Rock did it to get to the top .

Big Show because he took Austins "spot" that night and won his 1st WWF

World title.

Rikishi ? I'm lost on this one . Vince I hope you know what you're

doing , because i'm guessing nobody else does !

rikishi? totally blind sided me, but when you think about it, it does make

sense. i mean, rikishi was new to the WWF at that time, so he knew that his

character would not get main event status. so, in order for his people to

gain the recognition they deserve, he takes out the top guy to make room for

the rock. it makes perfect sense. i dont know about everyone else, but i

find this to be an interesting angle. you dont know what is going to happen

next; will rock become a heel because of this, or will he become more of a

face? this is probably more interesting to me because i am a pacific

islander too, but i think this angle can go far. many different paths can

come out of it. will SCSA be pissed at rikishi, rock, or the both of em?

will the rock get into a fued with austin, or will rikishi mix it up with

SCSA? or will the rock and rikishi battle? i personally think this is very

interesting, and can elevate rikishi into main event status. i also noticed

that rikishi got mixed reactions. this is puzzling to me considering he took

out SCSA, the main man in the WWF. i am still rather shocked at what

happened, and i have no clue where this is going to lead. it is true that

the island people arent exactly known for their WWF titles, but i dont think

its a racism thing. looking out for your people isnt considered racism, but

i can see where people can say it might be. i expect big things out of this,

and you must admit, you never expected this. WWF just got fresh again,

woohoo, i luv it.....

Who the hell gives a damn about an Austin/Rikishi feud? Ok, so chalk

another one up to Vince for surprising the smart marks, but Jesus, this

is the dumbest angle ever. Rikishi gets cheap pops for rubbing his ass

in peoples' faces. He's NOT "main-event" enough to be remotely

interesting against Austin. Bleah.

Still holding out the hope that this is a lame swerve and the real

driver was HBK or someone with frigging main-event caliber.

Where are all you experts at now?

I remember posts such as, "Mick Foley did it", "Billy Gunn did it," Hell, I

even thought Debra did it. Nobody in this whole usenet saw this one coming,

not even all the wrestling websites.

Goes to show you can never figure out the news from the rumour. Now, I read

these posts and everyone is speechless. Especially about the "island boys"

angle.

I'm waiting to see someone claim they knew this all along, this came from

left field, big time.
