Nas benefitted from his battle with Jay Z. Its always entertaining when two equally matched rappers go head to head. When they're not equally matched (i.e. KRS One vs Nelly) its not as interesting and doesn't have much of an impact on the MCs rating.
Catalog for catalog Nas ranks up there with the best of them. But the way he handled Jay makes him that much better.

I think a joint like ether was all tht was missing from him to make him a complete mc. Ether was vs Jay too, not no scrub so that matters. He took down a guy who was able to put an end to mobb deeps career. Great street rap song making is one thing, but being able to pull off a big upset in a battle (something hes not known for like maybe a canibus or krs 1 is) like that one is a complete nother.

since when was nas the undisputed goat? you can't be on the reason for more than 10 days and come the conclusion nas is the undisputed goat. you may think in your personal opinion hes the goat but this website has lived off the debate between who is the goat rapper and nas is not the undsiputed goat. matter of fact no rapper is the undisputed goat by any landslide.
