its getting ready to be two sets of young women out here the ones who know when and wear its appropriate to dress a certain way I.e. club attire for club and school attire for school and those that are gonna wear they freak um dress with the titties out and to short to sit in to first period English class. when did it become wrong to raise daughter and son to be gentlemen and ladies i missed something somewhere.

Bro, where u been?? It's been a difference out here. It all boils down to what u want to represent. As much as we all act like we place value on character and inner beauty, when u first see someone u size up their appearance. For obvious reasons, when I'm in LA, I check what colors I have on in certain neighborhoods because I don't want certain attention. Why doesn't that logic apply to women and their attire?? The message on rape culture and objectivism is lost if you're arguing it in some booty shorts and a see-through top (though, I'm not complaining)

I don't have a problem with what she said. I agree to an extent but not because of no boys vs girls shit. Just a "stop doing unnecessary shit" level. You're 12 why do you NEED to wear coochie cutter shorts? Why do you NEED to have cleavage popping out at school?

Last thing. Why is it that a singer or whatever can put out song after song, album after album and people don't give a shit. But you make one so called controversial statement and twitter tries to come at their necks? Then the same people have the nerve to clown them for not having a great career. I hate that shit.

Read a meme the other day, "Call me old fashioned, but I think your shorts should be longer than your vagina".

Maybe if our society wasn't so hell bent on objectifying body parts.

Fake outrage is hilarious. I just wish that we didn't take it so seriously.

It's a given that people are stupid. It's just that social media has put that stupidity on a pedestal.

These super liberal, "progressive" etc people are getting on my nerves and are full of shit

Why as a minority are they voices so loud

Once again, I don't totally disagree but placating is part of the problem.

When girls have to pass a dress examination before they can get into class it inherently puts them at odds with the boys who don't have to do the same thing.

Make dress code unisex if its that big of a deal. Girls can wear khakis and polos too but its not like it will matter if she shapely as a teen then whatever she wears will show it.

boys have dress codes..

im sure they cant sag and walk around wit no shirts on..

Shit the girls can't either.

How is this the same as people measuring skirt lengths?

double standard world we live in..

im jus saying they both have to adhere to a one of APPROPRIATE attire..

Appropriate can be made simple by making it exactly the same.

Dumb shit like the above

We gotta start silencing these idiots

This slut shaming movement is breeding a generation to not be responsible for the results of their actions...and when they get called out on it call the person a sexist

It is a standard just like the say "if i see your shorts/boxers your pants are too low..."

Im sure the same restrictions would be put on a Transgender teen....

Feminist (extreme ones anyway) want it both ways..you cant want preference AND equality..
