It's easy to assume that religion Islam is crazy and oppressive toward women and terrorists to their own people, but that is truly a few countries. Then in other countries with much less extremism or close to none at all there (like any country) can be a few within that country that just have an outlet to express or join in on views that are not representative of that religion. This might sound cliche, but it is true. There are muslim nations that are extremely safe and women have complete equal rights to men and it shows in every facet of their society. I emphasize (without pointing the finger at many european countries and america and china and half the world) anyone that does this to people is evil. Those are some powerful points, I've spoken about Islam's woman problem and many Muslims if not most whom I've spoken to change the subject or say the rules back then were different. The bottom line is that the Koran does promote mistreatment of women and while the Bible does too, it seems the Koran goes more overboard with it. The excuses from Muslims on this subject are weak and it's time they admit they need to make some reformations.
