as far as expensive club/drinks, I live in NYC so what ya'll calling high priced is regular to us. I don't really associate much with white folks, so I won't make an assumption without any firsthand experience. But my Hood friends (spanish and/or black) try to go all out. I'm always looking like an outcast because I don't rock like them. I don't wanna buy rose just because your favorite rappers are talking about it in a song. I don't wanna have VIP on lock. I wanna pregame, go have fun and be in the middle of the dance floor having fun. Most of them dudes that do all that extra shit just post and try to look like bosses. It isn't necessarily a race thing, more like mentality. One that sadly predominantly is instilled most HIP HOP listeners.

On the weekend I usually get a small personal bottle of Henny for $15, finish it before I go out and I'm usually straight. Don't buy any bitch drinks, fuck that. They got money. And yes, clubs are wack as fuck and highly overrated usually. I have had good times. But that's because I'm me, a nigga that doesn't give a fuck about what's going on around me or what ppl think. I'll be the nigga to go dance with the bitch that the other 20 niggas around are all just looking at.

But like everyone is saying, it's usually a huge fashion show and niggas tryna be cool. Fuck that, I go around and dance with bitches and get numbers for later. I don't post up with a $20 drink in my hand.

I've done both type of clubs and outside of price, decor/atmosphere, and discrimination they're pretty much the same. People get drunk, have fun, and fight over nothing. White low scale establishments are cheaper Cover (free to $10) than Black establishments ($10 to higher). My problem with black clubs is that cover is too high (even on a dead night 10 dollars), having no places to sit down, and no atmosphere/decor/theme. When you go to major clubs like in Vegas I know I have to pay more. Buying drinks, I just drink beer most of the night, with some hard liquor.

Whites can and will be just as reckless w/ their $ as niggas. I kid you not, White boy recently was joking to his other White friend talmbout "Dude how the fuck did we spend 2k last weekend?" "Man I don't even know. But it was awesome man!" True story. Plus whites are typically very friendly drunks, so when they drink they'll drop a grip of $ on buying everyone drinks. It really aint a Black/White thing imo. It depends more on personality than anything.
