I use to do that club shit when i was younger, then i got sick of it. I can't tell the last time i dressed up to go out, i stay on some bar or house party shit. My wardrobe consists of shorts and t shirts, can't be in no fucking environment where people are looking to fight in the club or looking like a Martin tv show club scene.

hell yeah. i see that shit first hand a couple times.on the flipside when i was new to clubbing shit tripped me out one time i went all the way to dc in some nike boots, and they said i couldn't get in the club. luckily somebody had a pair of shoes in the trunk, bad thing was them shits was a whole size bigger than what i wore. could barely do the two step. but i was like yall seriously not bout to let me in because i got on nike boots? the shits wasn't even dead. its a good thing my mans had an extra pair of shoes in the trunk because i woulda been walking around DC while them dudes was in the club.

Don't ever come to Dallas thinking you gone have a good time at a black club and not spend a shit load of money. Plus clubs here are starting to suck now letting in WAY too many people(over capacity) can't even walk. Charging 6-8 bucks for a beer. Females here don't even try to dance with dudes anymore shit is sad. I kick it with white folks now cause they can have fun for next to nothing. as far as expensive club/drinks, I live in NYC so what ya'll calling high priced is regular to us. I don't really associate much with white folks, so I won't make an assumption without any firsthand experience. But my Hood friends (spanish and/or black) try to go all out. I'm always looking like an outcast because I don't rock like them. I don't wanna buy rose just because your favorite rappers are talking about it in a song. I don't wanna have VIP on lock. I wanna pregame, go have fun and be in the middle of the dance floor having fun. Most of them dudes that do all that extra shit just post and try to look like bosses. It isn't necessarily a race thing, more like mentality. One that sadly predominantly is instilled most HIP HOP listeners.
