I actually agree with Jonathand here. Pac was not a "MOVIE STAR" yet. He was at best a rising star. Look at the box office:

His highest grossing movie was "Poetic Justice" and that was with Janet Jackson who was way bigger than Pac in 1993 and John Singleton coming off his Oscar Nominated criticially acclaimed "Boyz in the Hood". Everything else was basically B-Movie numbers. His last two films that came out after he died "Gang Related" and "Gridlock'd" didn't even break 10 Million at the Box Office. "Above The Rim" did pretty well for it's budget but didn't gross that much. There is no doubt Pac was going to be a movie star, these movies were him getting warmed up. I'm sure Pac would of eventually been in some blockbusters but sadly his career was cut shot. At the point of his death he was not a movie star yet. There are plenty of people who have been in movies who aren't movie stars.
