Why Are None of Lil Wayne's Peers Fighting For Him when it comes to his dispute vs Birdman?

Because they've already reconciled once? It's like when you dude breaks up with his girlfriend and you try to console him by telling him a bunch of bad stuff about her like she's an ugly trick bitch that tried to suck you dick while she was with him and then they get back together and now he's giving you the stink eye.

But what exactly does Birdman gain from not allowing him to drop music? As a business man this seems like a terrible decision, unless this just out of spite.

I think maybe if he let's him drop an album it might end Wayne's contract and Wayne could be free of Birdman.

Cause they ain't that close and it's not their business

It is their business though. These rappers collab with Cash Money Young Money artists on the regular. Everyone is friends in the game now with limited beef. When artists are not paid then that fucks up feature money or producer money. Hell many of these producers have been screwed over.

Niggas wanna say "free kodak black" and this is fans an artists he work with. Mind you Kodak did multiple fuck nigga shit to get in his situation. So if niggas can say free kodak black and he is new in the game and his label vouches for him in court then why can't the same be done for Wayne who is being screwed over by stunna?

Beat me to it

Birdman had the nigga shot at and Wayne didn't do shit. Not a damn thing one of these rap niggas finna do for Wayne. His hoe card been pulled. It's over. And that's it.

Wayne has to kill him.

Wayne washed up without cash money records no buzz no features no nothing at this point musically its

Birdman and Rich Gang >>>Weezy

who cares? lil wayne got the buzz if he was smart he would have artists benefitting from it for his own label. Start new like dre, and jay did.

Birdman is holding him hostage so he can't start new. Which is the issue and point of my thread. The industry should be standing up slihgtly more for a rapper that once was at the top of the game last decade.

Kesha was held back by the dude she signed to and the industry stuck up for her 1 hit wonder ass. Why can't rappers do just a littler more to help Wayne and his issue is all i am saying.

It's a legal issue, Birdman been shamed in the public eye for year's for his business practices. Shit ain't never stopped him.

And when you think about it nobody of real note has done any business with him lately. Young Thug, RHQ and Ar-Ab. And all these random ass niggas that pop-up on all these World Star music video's.

Ah yea I heard on Drink Champs that Uncle Murda and Maino was tryna get something going. Lol. Like to see the fuckery that would ensue if he try to jerk them niggas outta some bread.

Whats weird to me is that back in the day when Cube wanted out of Ruthless he went into the office with goons and baseball bats.

When what the ic considers to be "nerdy" hip hop fans wanted Lupe's Lasers to be released the went out and protest, wayne is one probably one of the most popular rappers in the last 10 years but we all know that he's too scared of birdman to do shit, and his hardcore stans are mostly hardcore retards and women, so i really wonder whats gonna have to happen in order to either release the album or be released from the label. You'd think that been that much of a commercial succes he should be able to buy himself out but i guess birdman aint gonna let that happen either.

Exactly. The money he could've made off the hype of his return from prison would've been ridiculous.

Then this. If he holds him up perpetually, like all popstars, Wayne will age into obscurity. Nigga is 33 or 34? Kids ain't gonna want to buy the "old" heads shit. Then Baby could drop the album, have it flop, and release Wayne without worrying about anybody else eating off "his" artist. Combination spite and business. Baby sacrificing his last payday to make sure no one else gets any going forward.

A theory I have is birdman wants Wayne to clean himself up first, that or he wants higher quality out of the Carter 5 (which it seemed like the quality was improved but sorry for the wait 2 was trash so idk). That's the only way I could justify birdman in this instance
