One is a legend recognized nationally as 1. Has made a lot of money for his label. Is a cornerstone of hip hop culture, period. Has been linked to various industry women. Alledgedly has been known to have a flakey personality that lets the truth come out when he's drunk. 20+ years in the game and is signed to another rapper in the game.

#2

The other is a legend recognized in his region. Has made a lot of money for his own label. Put his son on since age 5 and now he has dope music. Put his brothers, cousins, and nephews on as well. Been with his day 1 broad with no big scandals. Is known in many hoods as a solid dude and could probably come through any hood in his region with no problems. Revolutionized getting independent money back when others signed to labels. Has his own brand of liquor. 20+ years in the game and still gets love from the youngsters in the region and older crowd.

i think imma roll with #2

Perfect

If e40 is local how does he have a fanbase in Des Moines Iowa?

one person (you) equals fanbase?

well shit, every rapper has a fanbase everywhere then, huh?

40 had a concert out here last year and i know many fans of his.

Was talkin to someone at the scarface concert a couple weeks ago who had 40 in his top5

What exactly makes him local???

40 got a huge fan base down here (South FL) .. Dude is a symbol of independence and longevity. He's transcended and has a few classics under his belt.

I played In A Major Way front to back twice today. 40'll always be my dude.

West Coast biased thread lol

40 gets 0 spins outchea

Nah not biased at all. I didn't even vote. Lol. But I felt like this is debatable. E-40 is on his 3rd generation of fans. Meanwhile Nas hasn't made it past 2 generations yet is debatable GOAT status. IMO shit kinda balances itself out.

WTF?

Only Buttah B has composed a decent argument in Nas favor so far. This shit is nice to read.

Thanks.

To me comparing the 2 is like comparing a guy who went to college and got a high visibility good paying position at a world renown company to a guy who skipped college, started his own company and got rich in his region creating generation wealth.

Personally I rather be a boss of a good company controlling the money flow than the best worker in a great company getting paid by the company.

I think that was in response to the posts in this thread saying" I never hear e40 on the radio"

Nas is obviously a way better writer, but he sold out mad times and is a walking contradiction. Dude went from turning down alcohol commercials as a youth to selling poison to his people with a smile on his face.

Who gives a fuck if e-40 on the radio?

He wack

Nas is the goat

Y'all bullshittin

Make this same poll with Master p and see what you get

Alotta feelings, temper tantrums, and feelings going on. Very few thought out post Lol. You can tell who doesn't read. Niggas post just to see they own thoughts written out.
