Jay Z didn't want Kanye West to Rap and thought he would never make it as a Rapper

I think Kanye says alot more than Jay Z does in his Lyrics, i think Kanye has Substance and is more diverse and creative than Jay Z, i think Kanye craft's the better Song's and makes the more enjoyable Album's with replay value

Kanye is a producer which allows him to be better musically, but mc wise Kanye ain't nowhere near Jay. Kanye is a average rapper to me, but a great artist.
