G Unit was backed by one of the BIG 4 RECORD LABELS the entire time and still didn't amass the output that DipSet did as a group

from a Record Label standpoint yeah 5O's crew gets the win as far as sales because of who they were backed by. However, from a musical and cultural standpoint Killa's crew is the best, and that's what really counts and what stands the test of time.

Okay homie, i see where you coming from.. but I disagree with all that..

Every aspect of G-Unit at their peak, shits on Dipset.

Of course their impact was bigger... But Juelz had the lames wearing Bandana's, Cam had these niggas wearing Pink, Everybody though they was Dipset... And these halfa blood dudes was throwing up the Dipset sign.... All this while damn near being independent... And Musically i prefer dipset.... I mean Dipset was more flashy G Unit was more Grimey.... But Lyrically Banks in 04 shits on Dipset as a whole i have to admit....

Yeah, some blood sets been claiming Dips, lol .

But foreal doe .. bandana's always been in the game.

Hell, even Em was rocking em, lol

And the Jersey trend was set by Jay and the Roc .

So that leaves the Pink trend, (which Cam and the Dips started), vs. the G-Unit Clothing brand, that 50 started.

anyway, cats is smoking to say Dipset was better. G-unit had better beats, hit records, classics, and impacted harder, so hard it’s still lasting in hate form.

I mean who Dipset had that was good other than saying Cam?

Cam vs 50 in his prime not match

Llyod Banks vs Juels? please

Yayo Vs. Jim Jones? Hate on Yay but Jim is not even a rapper, dude super trash.

Buck vs. Freaky Zeeky? please

Jajah vs. Olivia? lol

Game Vs. Who on in Dipset? please

no excluding the Eminem and Dre backing, beats etc.. ya momma on crack if u think Dipset made better music then.

1. Cam at any point in his career is better than 50 at the hottest point in his career. Not to mention Cam bodied 50 with "Curtttttttiiiiiiiisssssss"

2. Juelz just shitted on Banks on his own record.

3. Jim may not be a good rapper, but he atleast has a classic song.

5. Buck and Game dont even count.

how you gonna say you disagree with all of that & most of it is plain facts? that's not logical.

now, if it is your opinion that g unit as a group made better music? than I can understand because it definitely is a matter of opinion as far as that part is concerned.

i will not stop saying this... Jim Jones is a way better MC over the years than credit gives him.. check out his work he's done during the dipset break fuck a hit listen to his mixtape work and the growth of his flow Jim Jones is not the greatest but he is respectable when he comes off n/h.. tell me Hustlers POME was wack kill yaself, tell me Ghost of rich Porter wasnt a top 10 mixtape this year Kill yaself!

Um Dipset was on the Roc when the Jersey fad blew, between them and Fab that shit took off and he's not saying bandana's as far as rappers but concerning the fans... niggas were all over running around with them shits

Never was a fan of dipshit before, during, or after their prime with the excetption of a few songs. so g-unit wins by default. add to the fact that they came out with some very good albums during that period like get rich or die trying, straight out of cashville, and the documentary

lloyd banks: Hunger for more, Money in the bank, mo money in the bank

Young buck: Straight outta cashville

Tony yayo: memoirs of a predicted felon (it was iight)

1.I’m conscious enough to realize what u say is how u feel (opinion) and not absolute. However, some facts can prove who was actaully better in what, what categories and I’m certain then it’ll be absolutely 50.

2.Pure ignorance. Your opinion that Juels outdone him, but it does not say Juelz is a better MC than banks. The threads ask in their prime. no real rap fan can believe Juelz is a better MC. ok to like him better tho.

3. So does Yayo. Still ignorant response cause it does not say whether that makes Jim better or contribute to the impact of G-unit vs Dipset at their peak. Unit clearly win with impact.

4. More ignorance. Buck Game counts cause their were G-unit when G-Unit were in their prime. the thread is Prime Dipset or G-unit.

Kid, read, observe, think, process them make logical response.

Aw, i wasn't tryin to discredit what you were saying.

You had a reasonable response towards my post.

.. but I just dont disagree on any of it.

G-Unit (in their prime) has waaaaaaaay more hits then Dipsets .

G-Units success in Projects (albums) , is waaaaaaaaay higher then Dipsets.

the G-Unit clothing line was waaaaaaaaaay more successful then Juelz bandanas, and Cam's Pink phone to match his pink Fur.

Yes, G-Unit had Em backing em.

But the Dips had Kanye', Jay-Z, and the Roc backing them aswell.

Cam'ron made a hit with kanye's production. Cam'ron had a Jay-Z feature on "Come home with me", and he also had a song with Beans and Bleek.

G-Unit shouldn't be faulted cause of the Dips fallout with Roc-A-Fella.

With all this said, (and i can elaborate more) ..

I just . Cant . Agree with you .

Its good tho homie,

I fucks with the Dips! lmao

Okay this makes sense. Just a few corrections, DipSet did not have support from the majors during their entire peak. they got a couple tracks from Kanye and label support from Dame circa 02-03. That's it. Everything outside of that was done on their own which in my eyes is much more impressive. G Unit only had one successful album as a group.
