This right here is the biggest problem with hip hop? Wtf do record sales have to do with quality of music?

They were both different...

Cam, Juelz, JR Writer, 40. Cal, Hell Rell in their prime were cold....
50, Banks, Buck, Yayo were a more well-rounded group though in terms of music.

I gotta go with G-G-G-G-UNIT. Fif was a beast when he was hungry, Banks & Yayo were too. Some of the best material heard were on the mixtapes prior to GRODT.

G-Unit was good but Dipset was way more enjoyable for me back then. I'll roll with them but I think they were equal everything considered

G-Unit . Very very Easy .

Matter fact..

I honestly feel that Fifty had the peices, that could've eclipsed the ROC .

The Game . Young Buck . 50 Cent . Llyod Banks, and Tony Yayo .

Dre affiliated . Eminem affiliated .

That line up was dishing out hits left and right. "This Is How We Do", "Hate it or Love It", "So Fly", "On Fire", "Stomp", "Show You How to Stunt", "G'd Up", --

Anything on Get Rich or Die Trying .

We already know the success with Fif's projects; but the rest of the crew did there thing:

Beg For Mercy went 2x's plat.

Banks went Plat .

Young Buck went 2x's plat

The Game went 2x's plat .

lol .. let me stop .. i'm sounding like a G-Unit stan ..

G-Unot in there prime > Dipset

Dipset got far more play from me.

BUt to be honest, they're very equal in the quality of what the put out.

The Unit's best work imo was: GRODT, Beg For Mercy, The Hunger For More, and technically The Documentary (I just plain didn't like straight outta cashville or thoughts of a predictable felon).

Dipset had: Come Home With Me, DI1, From Me 2 U, and Purple Haze.

Respective stannery aside, all of these albums were bangers and imo it's difficult to choose who had the better discography at the time.
