America trying to erase slavery from its history....

What's viewed as a win for some, is viewed as a loss for others. They're not taking down the statues and offering apologies or reparations. After some thought, thats how i view it.

Remind y'all, schools books are starting to print out that Africans were brought here as "Immigrant Workers".

After the backlash the company that makes those school books changed it....I do agree though that there is and has been a concerted effort to try and minimize the legacy of slavery all the while praising the men in the past who were all for it. Its a weird dichotmy white people have with that shit

That man is Southern racist who believes that Lincoln, who freed the slaves, was the enemy, and that the Southern confederates, who fought to maintain slavery, are the real heroes in the civil war. And he outrageously said that Lincoln is closer to Hitler than Confederate general Robert E. Lee.

You're crazy for overlooking all of that and for being critical of her for cutting short the interview and thereby stopping him from supposedly making the point that Lincoln didn't free the slaves out of compassion, which I don't believe is what he was gonna say anyway.

My focus is on Lincoln. He freed the slaves as a tactic against the South. It wasn't a moral move. He freed them so more black families would head north. That move weakened the souths economy because there was less people to pick the cotton and tobacco fields. Blacks also ran North to join Grants military. I wouldn't compare him to Hitler, but he damn sure didn't give a fuck about black people. Freeing the slaves was just a chest move. Abe wife family owned slaves.
