Back when Hammer was big, he may have had a few songs on our t.v or radio (Australian) but that would be where it stopped, back then it was alot harder for music to spread out of the states in all forms of media. So that's why I don't think Hammer could be in that list.
Em & 50 came out and the world couldn't look at anythin produced from a media standpoint without seein Em and Fif. They were EVERYWHERE, WORLDWIDE.
The reason I say Pac though is coz its been years and years since his death but he still has a dominant reign over all things hip hop. Noone can put even the slightest effort of learnin about hip hop with out gettin slapped upside the head with somethin concernin 2pac. Let alone the grip he had on the media while he was alive or shortly after his death. He still runnin this rap shit from beyond the grave. Dominantly too.

And no offense but Australia play little part in hip-hop fame. i understand now hip-hop is so big that it's global but back then Hammer was the most well known rapper in the entire world...not just in America. He played a big part in making hip-hop a global hit. Of course he was part of the downfall too. Once he added his sugar to the batch it was a wrap
