I enjoyed Ready to die more he was born in the intro and died in the final song with beats and skits that helped show Bigs life as a story

Word Son! ILLMATIC wuz ahead of its time. "Memory Lane" & "It aint hard to tell" are better than anythn Biggie ever recorded

This is a crazy statement songs like one more chance remix were as lyrical as either of these songs and had commercial appeal

One More Chance Remix wasn't more lyrical than either of those songs.

The best part about the song was the DeBarge sample and you know it.

I said it was as lyrical not more not less the difference between Biggie and mort artist is his direly was slow with that being said you was able to understand and criticize his verses a lot easier then any one else. This makes hif even better because even though you heard and understood everything he says you never heard him say nothing that was wack.

Now can you say that about Nas?

It's not really a comparison. Nas was and is a waaay better rapper. Illmatic was better than Ready to Die in all aspects and It Was Written is better than Life After Death.

Big is great and everything but he's not in the same realm musically. He just excelled more at having the balance between the streets and commercial audience on lock. Don't get me wrong, the kid could spit. But he didn't spazz like Nasir still does to this day.
