What Ted Turner did with the Braves via TNT/TBS is borderline brilliant. Only the Yankees, and maybe Redsox can claim more out of state fans.

[lol]Dude it isn't like folks in Georgia have a lot of pro teams to choose from, there's only four in the entire state. One four every sport and the Braves have been there the longest.

And he only won one championship, so you know it ain't your typical "they got rings" bandwagonery.

The Braves have seven pennants since arriving in ATL, eleven NL East Divsion Championships, five WL West titles, and two wild card berths, so it isn't like like the Braves are the paragon of medicority or ineptitude like the Cubs or the White Sox

Whole post went over ya head, bruh.

I'm talking about the NATIONAL popularity of the Braves. Not just Georgia.

Half the people that rep the braves on the board are not in GA.

Fave Football team is the broncos. I started watching football when i was 5 and just rooted for them because it was my moms favorite team. I think it was 97 or 98 when they changed their jerseys and logos, then won the superbowl. Then did it again the next year.

I was fucked up when Terrel Davis and John Elway and Shannon Sharpe and Rod Smith all left. I stopped watching football until about 5 years ago lol.

packers fan since i was like 6 or 7 and me and my brother were watching a game and it was the packers vs giants and me im anti ny like a muthafucka even thought i was born there and ever since then been a packers fan

New York Giants in 1985 (They was playing the Steelers, yet I figured Pittsburgh was poor as they only had one helmet decal), Dallas Mavericks in 1998 when Dirk Nowitzki joined the team (I'm part German) and the St. Louis Blues in NHL and couldn't care less about baseball...

I've thought about trying to switch to liking local teams but idk...just can't do it. These last 2 years I've tried pulling for the Panthers but it just doesn't feel right. I tried pulling for the Nationals as well since I could actually make it out to games sometimes being from NC but idk just can't give up liking the Sox after all the pain they put me through as a child (no homo, no catholic priest).

LOL. Nigga said "No Catholic priest."
