When Did You Start Rooting for Your Favorite Team?

Been a Rockets fan since I was 4 (1992)

Became a Oilers fan around 95-96. When they left I didn't rep a team, I followed the Steelers games the most though. Been a Texans fan since inception (2003)

Astros fan since the Killer B's era(97-98)

Texas Longhorns fan since Ricky Williams heisman season

Remember the 1993 season vividly. The hype around Barkley all that season and why he got the MVP over Jordan. The greatest offensive display in Finals history IMO by Jordan.

Huge Griffey fan as a kid but those Braves teams were stacked plus they were always on TV on TBS or TNT.

Really got into NFL football at 12, which is when I started reppin' the Saints. They would become competitive a year later.

Bulls fan since birth

OSU fan since 05 when I started watching college football

Duke since grant hill had dudes rocking FILA

Grew up in Inglewood off Crenshaw and Century. Couple blocks from the Great Western Forum back when Inglewood was still called the City of Champions. Whole family been Lakers fans... from g-moms to all my lil rellies. But it started gettin legit for me in '91 in that playoff series vs the Blazers.

I done told the Falcons Tecmo Bowl story enough times, no need to rehash.

If you from the LAnd and you was a real nigga, USC is the college football squad. That's just the rules. Only corny MJD type niggas fuck wit UCLA.

Some niggas like to go USC for football and fUCkLA for BBall. I ain't wit it. I fuck with the players individually like Baron Davis, Westbrook, Darren Collison, Ariza and Afflalo. Kevin Love a cracka but he get props. But as a squad I could give a fuck if they win or lose.

I've been a Cowboys fan for as long as I can remember, I used to go to Rangers games all the time when I was a kid, I don't watch Hockey, and with basketball honestly I'm more of a fan of players than teams since that is how the league is marketed but I will cheer for the Mavs.

Jacksonville Jaguars fan since the inception

Houston Rockets fans since 1994

Texas Rangers and San Jose Sharks fan since early 2000's

Hmm.....

Only NBA team I ever claimed. I admired the team that year but didnt start being a fan till 1998 when they had their rivalry with the Jazz in the playoffs. I still hate Stockton to this day

I kinda fuxx with that season too. That's the season that ended the John Blake Era and gave us Stoops.

Thanks Ricky!

Yeah fuck Stockton. I still remember when he hit that 3 over Barkley in the WCF.

I was born and partially raised in the Bronx so I've always been a Yankees fan, parents got pictures of me as a jit decked out in pinstripes at a game.

When we left NY my dad was UNC MJ fan, so naturally I've been a Bulls fan since he was drafted by the Bulls.

Living in south florida my dad bought me a Jerry Rice jersey the year the 49ers lost to the Giants.. I got clowned by some of my cousins so it only further help me ride for my squad.

My older brother is a Seminoles fan, I didn't pay too much attention to college football til '94 when the Gators and Noles tied in the rivalry game. But lost in the Bowl game that year in a rematch and couldn't get pay back til the year after.. only to get blown out in the NC game against Nebraska.. smh.. Appreciated the 'Ol Ball Coach swag and running the score up on another team.

Didn't get into the Gators basketball team til JWill got kicked off the team and that freshmen squad that had Udonis Haslem, Teddy Dupay, and Mike Miller

UCF is my alma mater.

I will always have a little more respect for NY teams because of my family and rivalries with South Florida teams and New England area teams.

Born a knicks fan, became a lakers fan when kobe first joined, hated the knicks when Isaiah and marbury came, became a suns and nuggets fan when nash, melo and amare joined and then became a knicks fan when amare and melo joined.

I was a Sixer fan because of Doc, World B, and George McGinnis, but after seeing Magic take the Spartans to the mountain top, I immeadeately became a Magic fan and once he was drafted by the Lakers it was a wrap. I've been fan of the Purple & Gold ever since.

Washington Wizards: Been my favorite basketball team as long as I can remember watching basketball. Being a Wizards fan is like being a Mets fan. You sign up for long term permanent torture year after year

UNC Tar Heels: My favorite color has always been Carolina Blue I literally put it on everything I could find as a kid...wasn't hard to get me to root for them as a kid and I grew into a fan over time watching them.

Cowboys: When I was a 6 my parents pissed me off one day so to piss them off I rooted for the Cowboys during a Cowboys vs. Redskins game lol. Turned out I saw Emmit Smith play in that game and he became my favorite player. My godfather who was a life long Cowboys fan then schooled me on the actual game of football and since he was a Cowboys fans those were the games I watched which led me to my next favorite team

Florida Gators: Once I found out Emmitt Smith played for the Florida Gators that made them amazing in my eyes as a kid so I started watching their games too and those Spurrier teams were fun as hell to watch. Though Florida is like the equivalent of Duke for QB's. You go there you sure to look like a beast for 2-4 years in the NCAA and like complete shit in the NFL...but thanks for those years all Tebow, Wuerfell, Shane Matthews, Grossman, and Chris Leak...your services were appreciated you mediocre fuckers

Yankees: I'm Panamanian, Mariano Rivera...enough said. Grew up with the man as a damn national hero. Won't find too many of us who aren't Yankee fan solely because of him.

Man I was a huge nets fan since I was like 10, i was hyped as fuck when kidd took them to finals, even during their off years I was an avid supporter, but then these mafuckas left jersey and went NY and ever since I been like fuck the nets.

Now I'm just watching the NBA without really having a team. Theres a few teams that I wouldn't mind if they win, few teams I would be mad at if they win, but overall I don't fuck with any team at the moment
