Thanks for the topic post Rusty, that's the biggest contribution that you've ever made to the essence in recent memories, shame it wasn't spent more productively, seeing as how you're a more knowledgeable poster from the looks of your post.
The reason why your posts are/have been deleted is because you come by every once in a while and drop a track that's admittedly seen as self-promotion (rightly or wrongly), being that you're posting with your name on the track/youtube/whatever, apologies for inaccuracies of this statement, I'm sure that you'll pick out the faults and put them right, thank you in advance.
That said, if I'm wrong, i.e. you've made a remix to the song because you like the tracks and you're a fan, then fair enough, I won't delete your posts in future. A simple p.m would have sufficed to explain the situation rather than waste your time typing all of that. I'm a reasonable mod and only looking out for the board and trying to make it back to what it was. So, if you contribute more then props but otherwise p.m me with your problems as I'll fix my mistakes and/or a post deletion that was unfair by mistake.
I'm sure as a Donkey poster, you will understand the problems with spamming, phishing whatever... and the deletion of your post is one of many that I delete every day. Like anyone, I'm not perfect, but I contribute as much as I can and do a decent job according to the few strong posters that we have here.
acaliman's posts get deleted where and when I perceive them as spam. But admittedly, it's a careful balance between deleting of spam and growth of posters. Posters with a low post count are difficult to judge at times, as they may just be getting off on the wrong foot. The fact that he posts tinyurl's was the eventual reason of a deletion of one of his posts. But it's difficult knowing the contents of the links that are posted as I obviously don't click them myself. Your zshare argument makes sense technically, but it's still with a click of a link. I don't know if acaliman's posts are spam because I don't click his links. That's why I advised posters who look here not to click links. I guess, there has to be an element of trust in the posters 'youtube's' that you click, but I do know or perceive them to be safer. And trust the creators of the Essence Essentials as I perceive them as trustworthy - i.e. Dilla, Ninja Senses and Beats & Rhymes. Traestar is also a trustworthy poster as well as the other regulars that we have here.
I'll leave your post even though it's off topic, but p.m me with any future issues and I'll do what I can for you. No hard feelings.
On a side note, your artwork is dope. I do manga sketches from time to time, so appreciate your work, especially the shading on the jeans.
