The thing with the Comic Violance/Cartoonish shock value Slim Shady based Music is Eminem himself and people he grew up with have said it was a gimmick and was based on him trying to get attention and cause controversy

And also the record label Interscope and Eminems bosses at Interscope told Eminem he had to make those type of Songs like My Name Is after the success of that Song Eminem has said this himself

But aside from that it's just not Hip Hop and overall good Music

Does that qualify for selling out?

What i said was i'm a fan of Eminem that makes real Music which is my fave Songs like Mockingbird, The Way I Am, 8 Mile Road, Not Afraid, Talking To Myself, Mosh, Hailies Song etc i can bump and never get bored that's why i listen to Eminem

It's The Slim Shady Alter Ego that i had a problem with that to me is just can't see anything good about that at all really it's just Shock Value Music and cartoonish

My fave Eminem Albums are The Eminem Show and Recovery every Song on those Albums being Deep and having Lyrical Content, lotta passion, lotta Emotion, just expressing and speaking on real life and loved the Hooks

As far as the other Albums Songs like Rock Bottom and If I Had are my fave from The SSLP, The Way I Am and Stan from The MMLP and the likes of Mockingbird, Crazy In Love, Like Toy Soldiers from Encore

Beautiful by far was the best Song on Relapse and 1 of his best Songs ever

Asking Eminem 'what's with the shock content and Rapping about murder, rape, killing, violance etc and saying to Eminem that isn't who you are as a person'

And Eminem's response being 'this is what is going to get attention'
