The problem seems to be antisocial upbringing due to a lack of parents/family in the home. We can give some credence to the argument of high unemployment and low access to education but in my travels I have found that the presence of a familial unit makes all of the difference. Places in Africa like Dakar, Senegal for example have high unemployment but low violent crime. The same experience was had in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. It seems that the antisocial, individualist way of life practiced here is antithetical to natural human behavior and interaction. We are practicing a way of life in direct contravention to our breed.

I already answered the question the problem is the lack of resources which is why there is crime in low income areas. Put resources and opportunities in those areas and there won't be a need for crime. You can't totally eliminate violence but at least this would be a start.

The solution is to go back to having strong communities that work together.

1) Have active community involvement in local schools. That means volunteering for tutoring, after school workshops and so on. I've been involved with Black Girls Code for example. The sweet spot to reach people is in that 7-17 range.http://www.blackgirlscode.com/

Sadly, our families are broken left and right, and too many kids simply aren't getting a good education in school, and also at home from their parents. If 50% of able bodied black adults volunteered, you could reach every black student out there. The whole culture in schools would shift similar to how it is in Asian communities. The same focus we put on Little League and Pop Warner should be put on the PTA.

2) Stop giving a pass to gang violence. If we're talking about sheer numbers, nothing is hitting us harder, so we have to actively run this out of our communities. I'm not with the "what about black on black violence" bullshit, but.....I do wish we had a fraction of the same energy protesting, having summits, etc., going at gangs, that we've had recently. Because a 15 year old murdered in gang violence deserves the same attention that someone shot by the cops does.

3) Invest in Black communities. Doesn't mean simply buying at black owned stores, but also investing with others together in business ventures.

The article states that for the crimes mentioned whites are arrested at a 2:1 rate to blacks. But there are roughly five whites for every black. So that alone tells you that blacks are over-represented for the relevant crimes, and that the black crime rate for the specified crimes are higher than the white ones.

Also irrelevant is the percentage of whites killed by other whites.

So what you posted is are not the statistics that we want.

The bottom line is, there will always be crime in Black neighborhoods be they affluent or impoverished. There is no way to eliminate crime in it's entirety.

Which, people coming in here saying lack of jobs is the issue, education is the issue etc. That is not the issue as WHITES kill each other at about a rate of 85%. Simple as that.
