I've been on Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale 8%abv) lately since I travel to our Corp headquarters in KY from time to time.

My go to is Sweet Josie by Lonerider, a NC craft brewer.

Also like Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin Ale.

I always try different beers and prefer brown ales.

Micro and craft beers own everything else for a reason.

Nah I'm just not into hopps like that...and ive tried a lot of IPAs (I'm close to where a bunch of micro/breweries are) and they all got that bitter taste and I'm not into that either.

I'm always just trying whatever the best looking craft beer on tap is, usually IPAs.

And the best brewery in the country right nowis Hill Farmstead outta Vermont.

Maine Beer Co (Maine), Trillium (Boston),and Other Half (Brooklyn) also have beers that give Hill Farmstead a run for their money.

I try not to be too snobby but yeah...Bud, Coors, Miller, Corona etc... I'm pretty sure they're some combination of piss and water. Haven't fucked with any of that since college. If I'm going for light, big name beer which is rare, I'm cool with Red Stripe.

You'd think it has a strong alcohol taste given it's 8%, but it's smooth as hell and has a great flavor. It comes in 4-packs at around $12-15. I've only been able to find it at specialty beer and wine stores here in NC.
