What becomes of the mentally handicapped?

Only God knows the answer to that. It's not my, or anybody else's, call. I know what suppose to happen according to the Bible. It doesn't mean that I'm going to start looking at the mentally challenged as a lost cause.

They go to hell, the bible is the exact word of god as Ive been told by these magical man believers. There is no asteric in the bible that says *Mentally handicapped will be granted an exception upon mental review, clearly states in gods words as interpreted by someone who interpreted what jesus interpreted as gods word, that If you dont believe you go to evil blood under the ground that somehow we havent dug a route to. If its the exact word of god then they are off to play in fire, if anyone says they go to heaven they are questioning the bible and also going to hell.

I highly doubt that you could show anything in the Bible that even could loosely be interpreted as retarded people go to hell.

None of us have the "mental capacity" to give us any atvantage over anyone else in terms of pleasing God. The mentally challenged/handicapped are no different.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:24-28

Have some dignity and stop talking about what you don't understand.

So basically the bible is saying that people who dont have the ability to think for themselves are spoken for by god?

Also if people are trying to change the minds of people who dont believe in the bible why post nothing but verses and scripture? Are you incapable of speaking for your own thoughts? If I dont believe the bible those words mean shit to me, why is it that you personally cannot explain these things? Why are you not able to show proof I am wrong through concrete evidence, logic, and reason. Sorry but if a group of people take turns writing a book, and have no physical proof of the things they speak upon I cannot believe in said book.

The bible (correct me if I'm wrong) says that you must believe in Jesus to get into heaven. The mental capacity to understand the concept of Jesus or God is necessary to hold such a belief. The severely mentally challenged do not have that capacity, so how can you say they're no different?
