He grew up really poor in Detroit's poorest neighbourhoods, had no father, lived on welfare and had to wash dishes as a living to provide for his daughter, his enviroment was rough his house was shot at the hood he lived in was dangerous he had a daughter so he had to think about her future so as a working class invidual he used Hip-Hop to provide for his family and genuinley had a passion for Rapping, Singing, Producing and performing his Music helped people over come struggles who experienced similar issues like poverty, having no father, being a poor parent, drug addiction etc
If he never succeed in Hip-Hop he may well have been dead or still working a minimum wage job cleaning dishes still living in public housing systems in Detroit with a daughter to feed
He may have choosen to sell drugs as a way to provide for his family and in the long run that could have ended him up with a jail sentence
He needed Hip-Hop to esacepe poverty in Detroit and give his daughter and wife a good life in a safe enviroment where he doesn't have to sleep at night worrying if they will get hurt or where the next meal is gonna come from
After he became a multi millionaire CEO/Artist/Actor he choose to give back money to charities set up a charity of his own to help people who grew up poor like he did and un fortunate like him

there are 2 seperate Proven Recordings and his Former Friend that released them recently alluded to more and 1 in particular by name in a open Letter to Em asking for some Unity with his old Crew.
