Because if you really watched the interview, he was painting a pic like those challenges are still weighing on his Life. When they clearly, are not. Now, I feel sorry for your unsound-mind if you don't think that the #1 selling Hip-Hop Artist's blatant-dishonesty, is not worth discussing in a whole thread...
So you can read peoples minds....he was what he felt he was going thru at that Time meaning 8 years ago and he answered the damn question your reaching and making up shit as if you know this mans thought process today which why I say this thread premise is bullshit.

DMX and Biggie were criticised for their lyrics, you do realize both of their debut albums had items censored out right? The Gay movement got bigger around the time Eminem came out but Blacks have been getting criticism for lyrics for God knows how long so your wrong. Blacks don't get away with saying anything cause Hip Hop's lyrics have been criticised for the longest. You do realize Rappers have been banned from TV before right? The bottom line anything Eminem is going through cause of his lyrics, Blacks went through years before and even worst, that's a FACT no matter how you slice it. So him bringing up his color as a reason it was happening is B.S. and there is no way to spin that.

i know they were criticized but not to the level of Eminem...nobody was protesting outside of Biggie's shows...people weren't boycotting DMX...and you're lying if you say they were...and his race has to do with why he got attention for it because it shattered alot of peoples idea that some blonde haired blue eyed white guy would talk about how fucked up his life is because that's not what we associate with that image...that's why Em's past gets the attention it does also because it seems abnormal to some people that a white person would have to come from that far down to make themselves successful...

I never seen it like that.... Em and people know the shit Ice T, NWA, Almighty RSO, 2 Live Crew, Pac and early death row went thru in the late 80's to mid 1990's. But in that time period around 2000 Em to my knowledge was the target by these homo and women groups and people in congress etc...and the conservative media pretty much all white folks. I felt they did target him more than others at the time cause they were shocked a white face was saying all this outlandish shit and they knew that Em was a bigger threat to "corrupt and negatively influnece" there children then say Nelly (who was almost as big in 2000). If people here dont understand that then proves the IC is bunch of dumb fucks..

exactly...nobody is saying Eminem went through something that was never faced by another rapper, but he went through it in a different way because he's a white rapper...it's expected for black rappers to be anti-everything white but for a white rapper to come out and pretty much say "Fuck middle/upper class white America" threw alot of people off and they saw it as a threat...case in point...My Name Is got alot of heat for some of it's lyrics yet Country Grammar, which is nothing more than a happy ass song about a drive by about Nelly shooting a street sweeper, was seen as upbeat lil kids dancing in the video and shit lol...

So eminem got discriminated on because of his skin color. Welcome to the lives of 99% of young black men in America. I honestly can't take his "pain" seriously....

For real I remember Snoop saying smilar about the critics em got around this same time to effect of "They use go at us for years they know they cant do that anymore so now there all going at Em" ...I mean the ts insinuating that Em is crying racism from who white folks ??..... And I dont see how talking about the doubters he faced coming up and still using that to motivate to be a better MC is a bad thing... every MC uses the doubters, haters as motivation to prove them wrong so its different cause Em is successfull??.. smh

Again this is more affirmation that EM's Skin color played an enormous part. They knew WHITE kids would be drawn simply because, he is white. Furthermore, knowing that the WHITE media is the Majority it's no way EM can sit and say it's racism. A better assessment would have been WHITE ON WHITE CRIME\HATE but of course he wouldn't have the balls to say so. What does this lame do instead. BLAME A BLACK MAN!!!!!!!!!

NOT on the level of EM? So, two Live crew sitting in court defending their lyrics. The vice President speaking on Lyrics by ICE T. The FBI having surrvailance on ICE T and NWA is some how on a lower level? Surely you jest.

only premise is Eminem, not letting go of the past, and his refusal to move on is reflected in the last few records he's dropped...if you feel that me exposing such a reality isn't worthy of discussion, then...

get the fucc up out of the thread with your cancerous-keyboard wanting members to stay silent on reality
I thought the premise was the false assertion of him "claiming racial discrimnation" (from white people) based on his answers on the questions he was asked... Now its his musical content of him talking about his past in his music??? Which is the answers to the questions or his music talking about the past?

His debate tactics are bait and switch when his points is being proven wrong...thus confusing you. Read any of his threads and you will see what I'm talking about.

Racism has to be carried out by another race. So, him mentioning racism or his skin color implies Blacks are the culprit. Like I said White on White crime\hate would have been more accurate.

Again your reaching for something that isnt there.... the only people who protested were 99.9% white folks from various groups... and I already explained why they targeted him due to his whiteness which why anyone with common sense and logic and who knows what was going on at the time understood when he says they were targeting him cause he was white.... Again if you and others do not understand that then it is what it is.

Right so those of us who actually have a memory and recall what Blacks went through are just supposed to forget yet have sympathy for the same thing Em experienced at the hands of his own people?

Nope! You just don't understand racial dynamics and the discussion of the subject. Once Racism is, mentioned it implies SOME other race. If, you don't understand this then, you need to study the subject more or at least experience it in some form.

Im talking about other rappers who were out at the same time as Eminem...none of the people you are talking about were relevant/dropping music in 1999-2004 when Eminem was one of the undisputed top artists in rap...if we expand the time frame then yeah but nobody said the entire history of rap music...we're talking about the time period in which Em blew up and was the peak of his fame
