DON'T get it twisted. I have tons of respect for my brothas who are doin the damn thing. I know plenty of black men who got degrees, are amazing fathers, treat women correct, are very educated and intelligent, got great careers, are enriching their mind bodies and spirits, etc. And the funny thing is most of them come from HORRIBLE backgrounds but the ydid what they had to do to make it.
And thats what makes the one who aint shit look even worse, cuz not all black men are like this. Some of y'all just choose to be like that and accept being that way, and then can't even take responsibility... you make these LAME excuses and put the blame on the white men, on your own women, on everyone and anyone but yourselves.
Oh and what the hell does me being a mulatto have to do with shit? I was raised in the hood surrounded by struggling black people, I done seen it all and yes I understand it. I know how hard it is, but I still don't think that's an excuse. Black people MUST to better. There's a fucking black president, doesn't that give y'all some hope, some inspiration to set and achieve goals in life?!?! I do not bash anyone of color, I am simply answering the thread and stating facts which you are making excuses for, and bad excuses at that.
