This shit was garbage!!!!! how could you some up the 90's with out mentioning Tupac and the Deathrow era? The biggest name in hip hop history not one mention????? Steve Stoute still holding grudges from 90s and getting punked!
how they ain't talking about tupac having more influence on america than any other rapper is beyond me
but this isn't done as well as i had expected, i was pumped to watch it and it's blah to me
i know some older folks i asked to watch it and i got similar responses to all of this....tanning of america happened before but no one talks about it, a lot of rock n roll gods in the 60's and 70's got their influence from black artists in the 50's....what happened with hip hop had already happened many years before that, the older folks were not impressed at all
Basically...lol at how soon wE forget and disregard history.
Jazz and rock artists...even back to blues were among the first to play in segregated venues...were influential in fashion slang language, dance routines. And tgats jus music. Lets get into how "tanned" america is and has been when it comes to food...especially southern. U think them spices and seasonings and recipies came from wales, normandy etc? Ha. And we see how kind history has been to them trailblazers and the negro of yesteryear in general. Weve been at this "unifying" point so to speak so to speak several times in history already and we got the same song from the past on repeat.
People generally know the message that's being presented is bullshit, but coddling whites when speaking on race is profitable so we gotta sift through shit like this...
