Here's the problem with black artists(music or film) when someone constructively criticize them they get too defensive, and say "Only negroes do this and that divide us as people" instead of looking at the root of criticism, instead dismissing it as those negroes are haters. Maybe, if someone like Tyler Perry or any wack rapper would take the criticism and think and say:" how can I improve what i'm doing and make it a better product." Tyler is wrong about the Soprano's Italian groups protest against that show and Jersey Shore. Also, film critics constructively criticize all the time.
Black people need stop saying: "He/She is making money so who cares" as a rebuttal and realize everything thats considered artistically positive is above criticism just because a black person is doing it when it isn't a good product . When movie critics said that James Cameron "Avator" storyline plot was cliche and done to death, did Cameron tell them to "go to Hell" um no.
