Cmon now @Stew bruh you just nitpicking now....what you doing would be like somebody saying find somebody who wasn't bitter at birdman who came out and said he be stealing ppl money... You ain't gonna find out this type of stuff from ppl while they friends cuz that would mess up they friendship you only gonna get this type of info when ppl fall out

Ok find somebody that was a Dre "associate" or not affiliated with him in anyway. Sorry I'm not taking some shit from Death Row employees seriously with the way they ran business. Surely you'd find somebody who's worked with him in the last 30 years who wasn't with Death Row who has these accusations if it's "well known". Nobody has still provided anything yet btw lol

I think you missing the point... You not gonna find somebody to say something negative about somebody 9 times outta 10 unless they got a issue with them

Tell me somebody who said birdman steals money who didn't have a issue with him???

Tell me somebody who said jay was a fake drug dealer/he gay who didn't have a issue with him???

Tell me somebody who said puffy be doing cats wrong who didn't have a issue with him???

Tell me somebody who said the game was a fake gangsta who didn't have a issue with him???

Etc.

Ppl who are close or don't have a issue usually either lie or keep they mouth shut so no we ain't gonna see snoop come out or em come out or somebody who has no issue with dre come out and say these things in a interview cuz they have no reason to...now im not saying the nigga just ran around jacking beats but let's not act like cats is lying when they say he ain't produce all those beats with his name on em

They don't have to, they take them to court to get their money. This has happened MANY of times in the industry in the past and the present day. Not once against Dre. These are facts.

how often do you hear about ghostwriters suing rappers they wrote for?

you don't cuz more than likely there was an agreement/contract in place where the ghostwriter gets compensated, so they have no grounds to sue

the same goes for ghostproducers

U got any proof or nah?

do you got any?

cuz the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence lol

I'm not the one accusing him of anything so why would I need evidence?

With all due respect

Anyway unless u got some facts or proof in this matter which I asked for 3 pages ago, I dnt have anything else to say about the shit.

Ye and Dre are my 2 favorite producers. Dre's ear/eye for talent is impeccable....as well as his track record as a producer, but it has always been widely stated that he wasn't the mastermind behind actually creating all of those classic beats. That's not to say that he can't create dope shit on his own, but it isn't far fetched to believe he had ghost producers too. I remember reading an old old old ass article w/ Scott Storch before anybody even knew who dude was. He stated that he was producing for Dre behind the scenes. I also heard the same thing from Hi-Tek. Others who allegedly ghost produced for Dre are Daz, DJ Quik & Mellman......maybe others too. I don't believe Dre is out here Quincy Jones'ing or Diddy'ing, but let's not act like it is impossible that he was slapping his name on beats that were actually produced by others.

Anyway....I prefer Ye's production over Dre's. It's just more soulful to me. #preference

yall gotta really understand what dre does

pretty much any idiot can piece a couple of bars of music together ... even by ear with no real musical experience or talent ....

but it takes experience talent and a good ear ... to take that beat these beat makers make ... and take it to another level .... basically RED MARKING YOUR WORK (think what teachers do to your homework) and THEN CORRECT YO SHIT ... like nah he used the wrong hihat ... try this ... no the base is too loud bring it down a bit .... hold up we need a clap here ... and the kick would sound so much better we just moved it back a bit .....

trust me you dont get to these levels without perfecting the beat making process yourself ... thats why he can sit back and let guys like Hi Tek and Storch come up with melodies baselines etc.... and he'll take that and actually make it sound like something ... bridge the vocals and hooks and arrange it etc......

U just posted somewhat of what a producer is. Thanks bro, I did that a long time ago with the Mel-Man interview lmao

@stew is an idiot. In the history of the world how many niggas have EVER complained while they were getting paid. When them checks stop niggas show they true colors and expose shit. You cant be that naive my nigga.

But how can you ask for proof then discredit the proof when your shown the producers who have said this....if I show you proof of a certain producers making this claim and you discredit it by making an excuse for them making that claim then how much proof do you need... there's a reason why its called ghost producing and ghost writing you're not suppose to "see proof"

I thought I already explained this? Because of their credibility in which their source came from, Suge Knight, Death Row Records, The Source Magazine article. Not shaky coming from them at all? Nobody else has ever said this.

"Dubcnn: Back to "Boss Life". Dre sounds like he's been taking piano lessons or something, all the beats he got are like real piano beats.

Yeah, he's doing his muthafuckin' thang man! I've been watchin' shit on TV, I've been seeing shit where niggas been acting like they made beats for Dr. Dre and they did this, and did that, like the nigga can't make beats! What I've been wanting to say is that, if you was one of the keyboard players, or a nigga that was a part of making some of his hit records, then Dr. Dre coached your ass on what to play. You didn't just come in the studio and think of the melodies and the type of rhythms to play. Nigga that shit was given to you by the mind of Dr. Dre! And if you were that good, why haven't you continued to make hit records and he's still continued to make hit records? I just want to speak on that, cause I've been seeing some shit on TV, that's been throwing me the fuck off, with niggas saying they did this and did that. The nigga Dr. Dre is the nigga that gave them the opportunity. He can do the shit by his muthafuckin' self, me and him done sat in the studio where he done made hit records, without nobody there but just me and him! You feel me?

Dubcnn: You can say whatever you wanna say about Dr. Dre, but one thing that's for sure is that he's got something, because whatever he touches is gold. Whatever he does, he does it right.

And then at the same time, it's like, you'll always find niggas crying about "I was one of the producers for Dr. Dre, he stole my shit!" He ain't stole nothing from you, nigga! If you that good, why don't you continue to make it!"

But cool just for shits and giggles lets throw the 2 or 3 people that said this out of the equation. Where/what are the tracks that are ghost produced(if them niggas was that mad, NAME THE TRACKS) and why havnt these artist made a name for themselves producing the same quality as said tracks? You and I both know we know who's ghost written for people, theyve either said it or no need to cause its in the credits.

I ain't tryna take nothing from that nigga dre like he ain't one of the goats in producing but its the same thing with ye song of these tracks with their names attached to em sometimes maybe not often but sometimes is just that...their names attached... And let's be real the credits only tell you who's apart of a track they don't tell you how big of a part....

example: "in the club" was co produced by mike elizondo now what part did he play??? The credits ain't gonna tell you you're gonna have to do the research...I'm not saying he ghost produced the track I'm just saying credits ain't gonna tell you who played what part....

But hey some ppl need to see things to believe it and others try to use their sense and come up with their own conclusion till proved otherwise so we're just different.

Read them credits. Don't get gassed up. For example, the last track on Chronic 2001 is The Message. If I never read the credits, I would've never known that Lord Finesse actually produced that beat, & I would've gave that credit to Dre because it's Dr. Muthafuckin Dre. Royce Da 5'9 is credited as the writer for the track also.
